1. What is Arrow – Fix ?
Arrow - Fix is an adjustable tool that can repair
broken wood arrows with the standard diameters
5/16“, 11/32“ and 23/64“.
Arrow – Fix enables repairs with little material and
time involved, nearly anywherealong the arrow shaft.
Arrow - Fix is a tool which utilizes a V-block support
method so that the wooden arrows can easily and
precisely be repaired.

2. What features has Arrow – Fix got ? (1-2)
The conical repaired area is very minimal in depth
and the visible joint would be around 1/25th of an
inch, meaning that the needed quantity of wood and
glue is at a minimum.
The shaft can be repaired to the original length up to
the fletching.
Because of the small area of repair, the spine of the
shaft would be only slightly affected.
Because of the cone shape assembly principle, that
Arrow – Fix employs, the repaired area would not be
affected by shear force caused upon impact.

2. What features has Arrow – Fix got ? (2-2)
Our extensive and year long testings in the workshop and out in the field
have shown no negative reaction to the shafts' durability or precision
even after several repairs.
The time spent and the glue used at the repair bench is minimal with
Arrow – Fix at hand.
Arrow – Fix will pay for itself only after a few repairs.

3. The Arrow – Fix method of repair versus the
common method
The Arrow – Fix method spares wood taken away
from the shaft during repair and cuts down
considerably on the glue use. With conventional
means, shaft repair involves applying large amounts
of glue to a lengthy sharp angled joint running along
a portion of the arrow shaft.
It is not possible for shear force to damage an Arrow
– Fix repaired spot. Arrow – Fix is based on a conical
joint principle where no shear force can occur.
The goal of Arrow – Fix is to minimize the joint's
surface area and the joint's location to as small as
possible without tolerating a loss of strength.
Arrow – Fix achieves this goal.

4. What can Arrow – Fix do ?
Arrow – Fix can be used for the repair of various wood
types including bamboo within three shaft diameters of
5/16“, 11/32“ & 23/64“. It implements the following
functions:
Cuts nock tapers.
Cuts point tapers.
Cuts a tapered bore enabling it to fit with an 5°
outer cone for the arrow repair.
Has a V-block for the arrow to rest on while the
glue fully cures in the repaired area.
Optionally; makes a cylindric bore to insert a shaft
thorn tip.

5. Which tools and functions come with Arrow - Fix ?
The following shaft diameters can be worked with Arrow – Fix:
5/16“, 11/32“ & 23/64“
A taper tool for the nocks.
A taper tool for 5° field points.
A conical drill for 5° tapered bores.
A V-block for the set up and fixing of the glued repair section.
Optionally; a drilling device for inserting the shaft thorn tips.
Arrow - Fix has many tools and functions included in the complete package.
