TEMPO MILWAUKEE NEWS
Quarterly Newsletter
CEO Message
Greetings!
Well here it is! Our first newsletter of 2015-16 – and we’re
issuing it in direct response to the request of our TEMPO
Milwaukee members. Our resurrected newsletter is full of
Information about the organization, our members and the great
work we/they are doing within the Milwaukee business
community. We’ve also shared a few social media tips as well as
ways to navigate around our MemberClicks database. The
newsletter will be issued once a quarter and will evolve over time
with important information about TEMPO Milwaukee.
As always, we welcome your feedback and look forward to keeping our
communications transparent and informative so our TEMPO Milwaukee
members continue to be engaged. Feel free to call the TEMPO Milwaukee
office at 414.301.6680 or email us at [email protected].
It’s been an exciting start to the year – and so much more is on the horizon. We bid
a heartfelt farewell to Linda Newberry-Ferguson and thanked her for her leadership as Board President during a transitional, but transformative year for the organization. We said goodbye to several Board members including Kitty Brennan, Krista
Brookman, Julie Cashman-Kuhn, Lindsay Hammerer, Kimberly Kane and
Peggy Williams-Smith. We welcomed new Board Chair Jayne Hladio and new
Board members Kris Best, Marybeth Cottrill, Vinita Paul and Paula Pergl. I am
thrilled to be working alongside Jayne and our TEMPO Milwaukee Board as we
continue to build the organization for the future.
In addition to our Board, we also unveiled our 2015-16 strategic plan. We
developed a strategic plan in 2012 – and much of it is very relevant today. A lot of
thought, hard work and feedback went into developing this strategy. We have been
provided with a great foundation – now it is a matter of implementing and executing
on that vision. We have included a link to the highlights of the strategic update in
our newsletter. I encourage you to read and review the strategic plan. I hope you
join in my excitement in bringing these strategic initiatives to life over the next year!
