The Octagon Theatre is Somerset’s premier arts and entertainment venue.
Hosting a diverse programme of live performance events from the grace
and beauty of ballet to hilarious nights with top-notch comedians, a colourful
array of live music and the drama and passion of live theatre. You can also
discover another view of things with the free exhibitions in our visual arts
gallery and enjoy a relaxing break in our cosy Bar and Bistro. Find the perfect
way to unwind and make new friends by taking part in one of our dance
classes or by joining one of the choirs. A range of classes are available to all
ages and abilities and your first session is free. Come and discover all that
the Octagon has to offer and find a place where joy, entertainment and
inspiration can be found everyday.
The Octagon is also home to SomerZest - South Somerset’s leading
Contemporary Arts and Craft Markets where a dazzling array of local
foods, arts and crafts can be seen and purchased. Yeovil Community Arts
Association, Yeovil Art Group, Yeovil Floral Society and The Writers Circle also
meet regularly at the Octagon. Always welcoming new members these
friendly groups provide unique opportunities to get creative.
