The traditional Italian brand Nordica is synonymous for skis and ski boots with uncompromising

NORDICA’ S HISTORY
1939 Adriano and Oddone Vaccari founded Nordica in Montebelluna, Italy.
1950 As one of the first Nordica get’s its inspiration at product development of their Athletes
and named the boot Zeno Colò Olympic after the successfull skier.
1963 As the first producer on the skiing market Nordica applies the “buckle” fastening system.
1967 Nordica pioneers the production of boots composed of plastic.
1969 Nordica developes the technology for manufacturing the injection molded ski boot.
1974 Nordica sets up its first affiliate in the United States. Other affiliates open in Austria,
Japan, Switzerland, France, and Germany.
Nordica accounts for 30 percent of world production.
1999 Nordica’s famed racing R&D creates the famous Dobermann boot.
2000 Freshly out of the press the first Nordica ski enter the market.
2014 Nordica wins the Brand Man Slalom Ranking thanks to their successful athletes like
Felix Neureuther and Fritz Dopfer.
2015 Nordica Dobermann GP 130 wins ISPO Award.

Our Adjustable Cuff Profile Mechanism (ACP) allows with only one
movement a neutral standing position for every leg size, making skiing

skiing position with a ramp angle of 3°7’ (on size 26.5). Also to

A NEW ERA IN BOOT CUSTOMIZATION
Tri-Fit Customization is the next level in truly personalizing ski boots. By focusing on the shell, the liner and the key hardware components, we were able
to create an easy to use technology that seamlessly and comfortably connects the foot with the liner and shell. The key to unlocking this technology is our
Infrared Shell Customization Heating Element used in conjunction with our Nordica Custom Cork Liner system and oven. These two technologies allow 100%
customization of both the liner and the boot shell, precisely in the areas where it is needed to achieve the perfect fitting of the ski boot.

Engineered with the combination of a natural cork compound and a Pre
Molded 3D laminate, our Custom Cork Liners create the perfect balance

To make hand work and traditional boot fitting methods - such as

components and PU plastic wherever possible.

CUSTOMIZATION DONE RIGHT
The true key in creating a custom boot design is not whether you can
manipulate the natural form of a boots shell but, rather, to create a
boot design that can easily and effectively deliver the proper level of
modifications, in critical areas, that will benefit not only the fit of the boot
but will also enhance its snow performance and feel. For this reason we
developed our Infrared Heating Element and our Tri-Force shell. We saw
the need to create a boot design and a customization technology that would
work together to deliver the perfect amount of customization, only to areas
of the shell where it’s needed. We also saw the need to create a system that
was accurate and easy to use, saving time and eliminating mistakes. The
key component in achieving this is the Infrared Heating lamp, heating the
plastic of the boot quickly from the inside out, at a right temperature. This
allows the boot to remain undamaged by the heating element and to take a
permanently defined shape in the customization.

click. On “walk” mode the cuff assumes a more upright position, unburdening the knee and allowing comfortable walking; click back to the “ski”

“SCIARE PER LA VITA”
Nordica supports SCIARE PER LA VITA, the non-profit
association founded by Deborah Compagnoni, the most
successful Italian female skier of all times. Along with 16 World
Cup successes and a Giant Slalom World Cup won in 1997, the
Santa Caterina Valfurva-raised ski star was able to win three
Olympic gold medals (Super-G in 1992 Albertville games, and
Giant Slalom in Lillehammer and Nagano) and three World
Championship titles (GS in 1996 Sierra Nevada Worlds and the
GS-SL double the year after in Sestriere) in her impressive career,
plus a Slalom Olympic silver, a World Junior Championships GS
gold and many other national and international titles. Queen of
the wide GS gates, she competed at the highest levels and left
her sign in the history of alpine skiing.
Since her withdrawal from the World Cup stage, Deborah
has been dedicating her time to her own foundation “Sciare
per la vita ONLUS”. This non-profit association, founded in
2002 in memory of Deborah’s cousin Barbara Compagnoni,
who prematurely died of leukaemia, organizes fundraising
events related to ski and sports in general to support charity
organisations which work in the field of medicine research,
particularly concerning childhood leukaemia. It also works with
schools to promote understanding of the research against these
serious diseases. Nordica is now part of this important project
too, contributing to the activities of Deborah and the foundation.
Since this year Deborah is a new Nordica brand ambassador and
she will be involved in the development of the new ski & boots
woman collections.

Core Ti (Full Woodcore) with Torsion Bridge technology has allowed us to build
the next generation of All Mountain skis. By removing specifically engineered
geometric shapes from a full sheet of Titanal, the Torsion Bridge provides
our NRGy skis with the performance of metal without the extra weight and
sluggishness that typically comes with a traditionally constructed metal ski.
Combining this torsion bridge technology with our exceptionally light full
wood i-Core Ti core, results in a construction that is extremely lightweight yet
