Nymph Whirling Through Flowering Delights Photograph by Lily Patterson, 9th Grade, Falmouth Academy “While we’ve semi-converted to digital photography at Falmouth Academy, my students continue to create film images in the darkroom. They love the darkroom and working in the analogue world. It’s 100% hands on, something that’s tangible. They can feel it as they turn the enlarger’s lens or submerge the paper into the chemicals. There’s a certain magic to it that is not felt with a computer. The resulting images are rich and thoughtful.” - Instructor Susan Moffat
