Director’s Corner:
Majestic Families,
Wow! What an incredible month. February was a whirl-wind of practices, competitions, more
practices and more competitions! I could not be more proud of how successful this contest
season was. Aside from getting a ton of awards and special recognition, which is always nice, the
girls really pulled together to work for one another. They saw that hard work can truly pay off, and
also that there is always still work to do. Watching them bond with one another, and truly work as
hard as they can for each other is the biggest reward of all.
Thank you all for your support in the stands, at home, and also volunteering at Lone Star. This
contest season could not have been successful without each of you.
As sad as I am to see competition season come to an end, there is still a lot to look forward to.
Our LA trip is around the corner and then of course we will finish the year with Illusions and
banquet! I can not wait to see what is yet to come. Have a wonderful March!
