fixed roof to give better aerodynamics and came to be known as Berlinetta.
At the race in Spa – Francorchamps, the Berlinetta finished 2nd, which was a considerable
achievement. In the next race at “24 Hours of Le Mans,” Ferrari entered two 312P Berlinettas, but
one was out of luck, and the other was caught in an accident or technical defects.
However, even if the 312P Berlinetta did not turn out to be an absolute winner in races, this sport
racing car went down in history as one of the finest-looking cars of all time that had hit the race
tracks.CMC replicated this stunningly beautiful race car down to minute detail. The model has been
made available.
We would like to take this opportunity to call your attention once more to its "brother vehicle" -- the
Ferrari 312P Spyder ( Sebring race version ). Itemized as M -095 with a MSRP of 349 €, the Spyder
was introduced in late 2013. CMC has both M-095 and M-096 in stock and is ready to deliver
them from Fellbach office.
In addition to the two models, we offer a fantastic replica of the 312P motor unit (1:18 scale), which
is nicely encased, itemized as M-121, and carries a suggested retail price of 114 €. The motor unit
is currently available.

Bugatti 57 SC Corsica Roadster, 1938
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-106
Suggested Retail Price: 349.- €.
British Colonel Godfrey Giles acquired a 1937 Bugatti 57 S chassis for an avantgarde roadster he
would like to have. His brother Eric Giles took over the design of the body, and the English
coachbuilder Corsica executed the plans of bodywork. A roadster with beguiling beauty was born in
1938, with the registration plate GU7.
Due to the problems developed later, the engine was fitted with modified pistons and a compressor
as a remedy. In this way, the new model designation becae 57 SC (C = Compresseur ) .
In 1985, the vehicle came into the possession of John Mozart, a famous vintage car collector in
California. At the end of 1995 John Mozart initiated a complete restoration of the vehicle. It resulted
in adding a fantastic roadster with a dark blue finish to Mozart’s collection, and the car won the
coveted title “Best of Show” at the Pebble Beach Concours in 1998.
CMC replicated the Mozart vehicle, together with its present splendor and almost unadulterated
originality, in the form of a high-end model of the premium class.
We thank Mr. Mozart and the company Bugatti SAS - tradition for their kind support.
The launch of the Bugatti 57 SC Corsica roadster is sheduled for the first half of 2014.

Bugatti 57 SC Corsica Roadster,1938
Sport - Version
Scale 1:18
Limited Edition 1000 Pcs
Item Number: M-129
Suggested Retail Price 369.- €.
In the 1930s, it was very common for British car owners and enthusiasts who were at once
members of prestigious automobile clubs to hold "private car races."
What could have kept the proud owner of a world-famous unique Bugatti roadster from participating
in such sporting competitions! After all, the Bugatti owner was well aware that with a 200
horsepower output under the hood of his car, odds tended to be in his favor.
So without further ado, the Bugatti 57 SC Corsica was converted into a racing car for such events.
The remodeling was not too extensive, and the most obvious modification involved the following:
• Elimination of the continuous ( double-sided ) windshield, which was replaced by a driver's
side windshield only.
• Integration of the spare wheel into the luggage compartment lid with a cover.
• A light blue finish of the exterior.
Based on contemporary archival records, CMC has replicated a sports version of the Corsica
authentically as a limited edition of 1000 pieces. The vehicle was at the time with starting number
43. Various plaques on the front bumper of the vehicle stood evidence to sporting successes and
the membership or ties of drivers to various automobile clubs. This strictly limited edition model is
scheduled to be launched in the first half of 2014.

Bugatti 57 SC
Motor Unit in a Showcase
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-112
Suggested Retail Price 114.-€
This motor unit is another highlight in our newly-launched motor series in 1:18 scale, and each
replica comes in a quality, dustproof acrylic display case.
The item features an 8- cylinder in-line engine, as can be found in the 57 SC Corsica Roadster and
the Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic Coupe.
Extremely modern for its time, the 1938 engine once again serves as an ingenious signature for the
House of Bugatti.
With a bore x stroke dimension of 72x100 mm, a total displacement of 3,257 cc resulted. The
combination of a compression ratio of 8.5:1, two overhead camshafts, a Roots-Supercharger with
integrated drive in the crankcase, and Stromberg carburetors UUR2 or type Bugatti enabled a
performance of 200 hp, which was remarkable for its time. A 6-fold crankshaft bearing and modern
dry sump lubrication guaranteed a reliable and long-lasting service life.
Picture-perfect, this motor unit is hand-assembled with elaborate parts and will enrich any model car
collection. It will be available in the first half of 2014.
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B, 1938
Special Touring Coupé
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-107
Suggested Retail Price 349.- €.
The vehicle in the spotlight here is one of a kind. It has been the pride of the Alfa Romeo Museum
"Storico" in Arese, Italy. This is not only because the car has an interesting history, but also because
its looks are so spectacular and unique.
-6-
Originally, the 8C 2900B was prepared for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1938. The vehicles delivered
had a body designed by Touring specialists with a closed-top structure (Berlinetta), which
incorporated aerodynamic expertise in lightweight design with patent technology based on Touring
Superleggera principle (aluminum body).
In addition to a powerful eight-cylinder engine with 220 hp, the vehicle was equipped with specific
equipment for Le Mans races. However, despite a superior lead in the 24-hour race, the car was not
a success. A blowout and a subsequent ruptured valve put an abrupt end to what appeared to be a
certain victory.
After the race, the car was repaired and sold. In the course of time, it changed hands several times.
Finally, the vehicle wound up in England, from which it was brought back in the 1980s to the Alfa
Museum "Storico" in exchange for Type 158 Alfetta, a Grand Prix racing car. Storico had the vehicle
restored as a street version in its original condition, to which a dark red finish was eventually
applied. Since then the vehicle has achieved the status of an absolute rarity, and it tends to cast a
fascinating spell on museum visitors.
In close cooperation with the Alfa Romeo Storico, CMC will replicate this jewel of Alfa Romeo as a
high-end model of the premium class. We put its much-anticipated launch in autumn 2014.
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Special
Starting Number 19, 24H France. 1938
Limited Edition 3000 Pieces
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-111
Suggested Retail Price 384.- €
Beginning in 1938, Alfa Romeo started their own racing department "Alfa Corte," which was literally
up to arms for the upcoming 24-hour race in Le Mans. Intensive preparations included strenuous
efforts to provide the 8C 2900 B with a special edge.
The primary concern was the air resistance against a closed-top structure (coupe). It so happened
that the renowned coachbuilder Touring company had adopted lightweight construction to develop
-7-
an aerodynamic Berlinetta body known as Superleggera. The body looked so unusually futuristic
that it triggered a spontaneous sense of being enlightened in the viewers. The rear frame was also
significantly lowered to enable a quick lift in the pit stop. The two powerful front fenders were
integrated into the overall body. There were two large removable panels behind the front wheels to
allow a quick access to the engine when necessary.
The 2.9 liter 8-cylinder engine with two Roots Superchargers could rev up to 220 hp, giving the car a
top speed of 245 Km/hr. Because of its deafening exhaust noise, rival drivers were soon talking
about "Soffio di Satana" or "breath of Satan."
An experienced team for long-distance racing, Raymond Sommer and Clemente Biondetti took off
with starting number 19 on the circuit of Sarte. Never before in Le Mans history had a vehicle
managed to gain such a dominant lead as the 8C 2900B Special did.
The team was 11 laps or about 160 km ahead of the second car when their right front tire burst.
Sommer managed to get the car under control before driving it into a pit stop. There, it was found
that the ripped tire treads had caused damage to the engine and loss of engine oil. When Clemente
Biondetti took over and got back onto the track, he was still in the lead, but he could only continue
for two more laps before a valve rupture forced the team to call quits.
Such was the end of a chase for championship that claimed the largest lead of all time at Le Mans,
but it was overtaken by disasters and fell short of clenching a seemingly certain victory. The 8C
2900 B Special with a Touring Superleggera body made only one appearance at Le Mans.
After the war, having gone through the hands of several owners, the vehicle found home in England.
The 1980s saw it brought back to Storico Alfa Romeo Museum in Italy in exchange for a Grand Prix
Type 158 Alfetta. Storico restored the 8C 2900 Special to a working condition. There is no doubt
that this car is one of the most valuable pre-war vehicles and a priceless symbol of Alfa’s glorious
racing history for Storico in particular.
CMC worked in close collaboration with the Alfa to replicate the famous Le Mans racer from 1938 as
a high-end model of the premium class that recaptures the original racing condition of the car. The
model is expected to be available in 2014.
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B, 1938
Motor Unit in a Showcase
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-131
Suggested Retail Price 114.- €.
-8-
At the heart of every successful sports vehicle is a powerful and reliable engine. This engine unit is
the “heart” of the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B.
As an 8-cylinder engine with 2.9 liter displacement, it yields a standard power of 180 hp, but with an
improved compression ratio of 6.3:1 for racing sport, its output could go up to 220 hp at 5800/min.
Vittorio Jano, a virtuoso of lightweight construction, designed the crankcase with two blocks of light
metal, each housing four cylinders. In this design, the cam drive by a gear train was moved to the
middle of the engine. This means that the length of the camshaft could be cut in half, resulting in
high rigidity and stability of the part. Each of the two cylinder blocks was ventilated by a Roots-type
supercharger.
This motor replica, which comes in an attractive, dust-proof acrylic display case, is a member of our
newly launched CMC motor series. It adds another revealing highlight to the display of one’s
collection from the CMC House.
The delivery date of this elaborate motor unit is scheduled for the end of 2014.
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B, Rolling Chassis
Limitied Edition 1000 Pieces
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-130
Suggested Retail Price 275.- €.
The world-famous symbol of Alfa Romeo racing history deserves to be watched and admired
internally as much as externally.
This limited edition of 1000 units worldwide provides the opportunity to get to know the Alfa Romeo
8C 2900 B literally inside out.
With the body covers removed, you are now looking directly at a sophisticated tubular structure that
provides a supporting framework for the Touring Superleggera body and a lesson in the technology
of framing stability.
-9-
The original rolling chassis weighs approximately 850 kg. Our replica offers a revealing look into the
internal structure of the cockpit, the arrangement of the suspensions, and the drive train with the
engine and transmission. Also visible is a detailed revelation of the cooling system with a separate
oil cooler, the powerful petrol tank, and the housing of the spare wheel. At the front is the impressive
eight-cylinder inline engine with an output up to 220 hp. One special feature is the displacement of
the 4-speed transmission to the rear axle via a block unit working like a transaxle.
In the original design, it was deemed necessary to shift weight towards the rear of the vehicle. The
fuel tank right behind the driver's seat over the rear axle contributes to a balanced weight
distribution. Hydraulic brakes on all four wheels ensured a delayed response for safety when the car
decelerated from a top speed of up to 245 km /hr.
CMC is expected to provide the rolling chassis model at the end of 2014.
Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato,1961
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-132
Suggested Retail Price 384.- €.
Many CMC customers are likely to have been wondering when "CMC will bring a British vintage car
on the market."
Indeed, it has been a long wait. Now by picking the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, one of the most
famous and sought-after old-timers, we believe the collectors will be delighted.
Why this Aston Martin? In short, the DB4 GT Zagato was and is more than ever an exclusive sports
car with British engineering and Italian bodywork. The car was developed by Aston Martin in
collaboration with the Milanese coachbuilder Zagato. Gianni Zagato had made a name with his soft
design language and famous curves to tailor a body that was simply inspirational.
.
-10-
Between 1959 and 1960, a total of 19 original DB4 GT Zagato vehicles were manufactured, and
they all differed from one another in details: Zagato was accustomed to taking patron requests into
consideration. From 1988 onwards, six working replicas were built, and they are classified as
Sanction II (4 models ) and Sanction III (2 models ).
The DB4 debuted in 1958, and it was replaced by an upgraded and slightly lighter DB4 GT in 1959.
But back then, it was recognized that Aston Martin was no match for Ferrari with the dominant 250
GT. Consequently, in 1960 Aston Martin teamed up with Zagato, which not only held a legendary
reputation for beautifully-styled cars, but was also famous for the extraordinary lightweight
construction of its coach-built bodies.
A classic example of lightweight construction is the Touring Superleggera body built from aluminum.
Zagato certainly understood the importance of clever material choices; the DB4 GT also shed
trimmings and unnecessary luxuries by approximately 100 kg. But even such "radical cure" failed to
put the 314-hp DB4 GT on a path to the coveted success. Therefore, the co-production of Aston
Martin and Zagato ended in 1960 after the completion of 19 pieces of the DB4 GT Zagato.
CMC will model his replica after one of the 19 original Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagatos with a
"Goodwood Racing Green" finish. The model is ear-marked for delivery in 2014.
Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato ,1961
Motor Unit in a Showcase
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-133
Suggested Retail Price 114.- €.
Looking at this 6-cylinder naturally aspirated engine (designation 370 / ...... / GT) in its compact and
almost beefy construction, one may wonder what powerful torque performance it is capable of. With
a displacement of 3.7 liters ( 3,670 cc ) and a compression ratio of 9.3 : 1, the DB4 GT Zagato
-11-
engine generates 314 PS at 6000 rpm and accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 100 km / h on the road
in 6.2 seconds.
The crankcase (Bore x Stroke: 92 x 92 mm), cylinder heads, and pistons are made of aluminum .
The chromium - molybdenum crankshaft is mounted on seven bearings. The control of the hanging
valves (two per cylinder) is provided by two overhead camshafts. The ignition system consists of
two flanged ignition distributors. Efficient incineration is facilitated by two spark plugs per cylinder.
Mixture preparation is taken care of by 3 Weber twin carburettors 45DCOE4. Oil supply is made
smooth by pressure lubrication, and a separate oil cooler keeps the oil temperature within
permissible limits.
We are pleased to introduce this highly interesting motor unit as a new addition in in our ongoing
CMC engine series this year.
We will have 2 of the CMC classics remade in 2014:
Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage, Starting No. 5
1000 Km Nürburgring Race,1960 (Moss-Gurney)
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-047
Suggested Retail Price 284.- €
By a stroke of genius, Maserati chief designer Giulio Alfieri proposed constructing a spaceframe
from over 200 short pieces of pipe that only weighed a total of 30 kg. Thanks to this lightweight
tubular spaceframe, the Maserati Tipo 60/61 acquired the legendary nickname "Birdcage" or "bird
cage." As a result, the "fastest cage" of all time was born.
The private U.S. team Camoradi joined in the 1000km Nürburgring race in May 1960 with a Tipo 61
Birdcage. Its driver duo Stirling Moss/Dan Gurney won the race after a grueling battle against the
toughest competition.
Our model of this historic racing event has continued to attract collectors globally. Because of the
persistent market demand, we will introduce a remake of the Moss/Gurney winning car with starting
# 5.
The model is to be made available in the course of 2014.
-12-
Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage, Starting No.7
Cuban (Havana) Grand Prix,1960
Limited Edition 1500 Pieces
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-125
Suggested Retail Price 289.- €
We are often approached by enthusiasts and collectors for CMC-made models of the Maserati Tipo
61 Birdcage. This once led us to replicate the legendary Birdcage with starting No. 5 (winning car at
the 1000 kg Nürburgring race in 1960 with Stirling Moss and Dan Gurney as the co-pilots), and the
model is itemized as M-047.
Our new choice is with the Cuban (Havana) Grand Prix winner in 1960 with Stirling Moss at the
wheel.
The Cuban Grand Prix was launched under the Batista government in 1957 to attract wealthy
tourists from the nearby USA.
The race took place on a road course that went through the beach promenade of Havana and
consisted of more than 50 rounds for a total distance of 260.5 km. The first race in 1957 was a great
success. The winning title went to J.M. Fangio on a Maserati 300 S.
The following year witnessed Fangio abducted by anti-government rebels in front of his hotel. The
race appeared to come under an unlucky spell: not only was Fangio kidnapped, but Armando
Garcia Cifuentes also lost control of his Ferrari, which flew into the crowd, killing seven people. The
race was canceled in 1959 because of the revolution led by Fidel Castro.
In 1960 the race was relocated to Camp Freedom, where the Cuban GP was conducted for the last
time as an airfield race.
Stirling Moss participated with starting no. 7 on a Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage from the private USA
Camoradi racing team and won a commanding victory.
The model is to be introduced in the course of 2014.

Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage,1960
Motor Unit in a Showcase
Sccale 1:18
Iitem Number: M-126
Suggested Retail Price 114.-€
The development of the Maserati Tipo 61 was closely correlated with modifications of its Type 200S
engine. Chief engineer Giulio Alfieri was aware that he had to push the reinforcement of power to
the limit in order to survive against the overwhelming challenges from Ferrari and Aston Martin.
This is a naturally aspirated engine with a light-metal cylinder block, and the light-metal cylinder
heads are aligned in four-cylinder series. Bore and stroke have increased to 95.5 x 92 mm so that a
total displacement of 2890 cc is available. Valves are controlled via two overhead camshafts that
are driven by a gear train.
The engine placement is so conceived that the aggregate is positioned behind the front axle to
become a front-mid engine. The engine is also mounted at a 45-degree angle to the right in order to
keep the face of the bonnet flat. This arrangement results in a much-desired low center of gravity.
However, the mounting of the engine oil sump had to be modified accordingly.
All this contributed to a high-performance engine in concert with dry sump lubrication and a
separate oil cooler.
The sensational victory in the 1000 km race of Nürburgring provided another impressive
demonstration of the properties of this engine.
The engine replica is likely to be released in 2014 as a new addition in CMC’s motor series.

Mercedes–Benz Racing Car Transporter, 1954
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-036
Suggested Retail Price 299.- €
For years, the "Blue Wonder" had been one of our best sellers. And there is good reason: apart
from its authentic replication of the beautiful original, the CMC replica featured the use of elaborate
sheet-metal technology, high-quality materials, and perfect workmanship. The model donned a deep
blue high gloss finish and became a star exhibit for many collectors.
The Daimler-Benz testing department built the Mercedes -Benz racing car transporter from scratch
in 1954. With a deep blue paintwork, the soft curves of the body, and a top speed of 170 km /hr, the
transporter or “Blue Wonder " attracted a lot of attention as it went down the road with such racing
cars as W 196 and 300 SLR on its deck.
When Daimler-Benz withdrew from Formula 1 racing at the end of 1955, the racing car transporter
disappeared from public sight, and it was sadly scrapped in 1967.
It was not until the early 1990s when Daimler-Benz resurrected a replica of this transporter under
the direction of the Daimler-Benz Classic Center. The revived transporter participated in the
centennial parade to a cheering crowd at the Festival of Speed in Goodwood, England in 2001,
which marked the 100th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz.
The long-lasting selloff of this replica will come to an end. A remake will be made available in the
course of 2014. For your information, we will also carry W196R streamliner, Uhlenhaut Coupe, and
300 SLR Mille Miglia in stock.
-15-
Mercedes – Benz W196 R Streamliner,1954
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-127
Suggested Retail Price 279.- €.
CMC collectors tend to be fans of our Mercedes, including the W 196 R (M-044), which has
remained one of the best-known models on the market. Demand for this model has been persistent
even after we are sold out on this item for quite a while.
CMC has decided to re-issue the model with some appearance modifications that are akin to the
1954 version we previously introduced.
These modifications will only change the overall appearance of the model slightly, thus offering an
interesting enrichment to your collection.
Here is a little history. Mercedes -Benz returned to Formula 1 racing in 1954 for the first time after
WWII. At the premiere in Reims, three new Silver Arrows emerged at the start-line with a completely
new body that sent the public cheering in excitement. Such an elegant, cutting-edge streamlined
racing car had never seen before!
The excitement was well-placed, for the Mercedes team triumphed with Juan Manuel Fangio and
Karl Kling winning a double victory. This was followed by Fangio 1954/1955 double world
championships as well as wins by Karl Kling, Stirling Moss, Hans Herrmann and Piero Taruffi either
on a streamliner or open-wheel version. The success story, however, ended where it had begun: In
the final race of the Grand Prix 1955 season at Monza, the #18 streamliner piloted by Fangio was
again the winner. Nevertheless, Mercedes decided to withdraw from motorsport at the end of the
1955 season, and the glorious era of the Silver Arrows was over.
This metal replica is hand-assembled from more than 1,100 parts. On top of the use of high-quality
materials and a finest finish, a nice combination of authenticity, detailing, and functionality turns the
replica into a master piece of model making. Itemized as M-127, this model is expected to be
release during 2014.
-16-
Mercedes – Benz W196 R Streamliner, GP Frankreich 1954
Hans Herrmann, Starting Number 22
Limited Edition 1000 Pieces
Scale 1:18
Item Number: M-128
Suggested Retail Price 289.- €.
The Mercedes race car W196R made its debut at the French Grand Prix on the Circuit de Reims on
July 4, 1954. Mercedes entered three W196R’s with Juan Manuel Fangio, Karl Kling and Hans
Herrmann the junior behind the wheel respectively. Herrmann had demonstrated his talents as a
Porsche racing driver in the past.
The elegantly streamlined body of the Mercedes race cars was a scene of absolute novelty, which
turned the traditional racing car design on its head. It touched off a wave of sensation among some
300,000 spectators at the race track.
The race that consisted of 61 laps for 506 km began promisingly for Mercedes. Fangio (#18) and
Kling (# 20) started from the front row to take the lead immediately. They were followed by Ascaris
on a Maserati 250 F. But he was overtaken by Hawthorn and Gonzales of the Ferrari team during
the first round.
With starting number #22, Hans Herrmann took off from the third row to claim a 5th place before
long. Unsatisfied with this position, he geared up his efforts. After seven rounds, he caught up with
Hawthorn, and then with Gonzales in the eleventh round. In the course, he set up a new lap record
of 195.463 km /hr. All three W196R’s were now in the lead, and this continued until the 17th Round,
when Herrmann's engine suddenly gave out, and he had to retire prematurely.
In the end, J. M. Fangio won the Grand Prix of France by a few-feet lead of Karl Kling at an average
speed of 186.15 km/hr. They brought a double victory to Mercedes after Mercedes took a prolonged
absence of 15 years from international motorsport.
CMC will release a high-end replica of Hans Herrmann’s W 196R (#22) in honor of his contributions
to motorsport as well as his close ties with Mercedes-Benz.
This model should be available in 2014.

Auto Union Typ C, Starting Number 5
Scale 1:12
Item Number: C-008A
Limited Edition 300 Pieces
Suggested Retail Price 2598.- €.
This 1:12 scale replica testifies to the exclusive model-building technology developed by CMC. The
body is entirely made of copper sheet and decorated with ornate metal parts. Actually, both are
nothing short of innovative moves in model-building industry.
With the wheels of this replica, CMC will also introduce a new manufacturing technique. Each
assembled wheel will be a work of art, with an authentic-looking rubber tire and stainless steel
spokes mounted onto the aluminum rim one by one with a fine base nipple.
Here is a look back upon the Grand Prix racing, in which the Auto Union Type C played a significant
role.
Auto Union presented the Type C in 1936 with an “unconventional arrangement” that was shocking
at the time, namely, the placement of a powerful 16-cylinder V- engine behind the driver and in front
of the rear axle. It marked the beginning of the mid-engine layout in racing history.
It was fortunate that the 520 PS driving machine found a match in the highly-talented young driver
Bernd Rose Mayer. What with his genius and daredevil spirit, he was good at managing cars that
were hard to drive. The enormous performance potential of 520 hp with a maximum Torque of 870
certainly put the Type C in that lonely class.
1936 was a successful year for Bernd Rose Mayer, and he was crowned with many Grand Prix
victories and European championships. In 1937, the Auto Union ace-driver continued to keep his
main competitors of Mercedes-Benz in check and moved on to get 5 more race wins. His successful
career, however, was tragically cut short by a fatal accident in early 1938.
CMC will introduce this model in 2014.
