wonderful resort on the beach. The trip begins in Cap Haitien where you
will visit the “8th wonder of the world”, the Citadel, and surrounding
historic area, a UNESCO Heritage site. Then, board a short flight to Port
au Prince to see the important cultural sites, as well as the real Haitien
way of life along with surprises. Venture to Jacmel, a small Oceanside
community and revel in the unique Carnival experience.

ITINERARY
Day One: Tuesday, February 14
Arrive at Cap Haitian Interbnational airport and transfer to Habitation Jouissant Boutique hotel. Check-in and relax at this very special
boutique hotel overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Dinner will be held in
evening on its magnificent terrace with music. For those celebrating
Valentine’s Day we will offer a romantic private table.(D)

ITINERARY
Day Two: Wednesday, February 15 After Breakfast, we leave early to experience the “Citadelle LaFerriere”
in Milot. Our guides will help you ascend to the top of the mountain
where the vistas are incredible and the history and beauty of the hand
built fortress looms at the cloud line. The fortress which was started
being built in 1805 is on the top of a 3,000’ mountain and is a World
Heritage site. Fully guided tours of the Citadel and Sans Souci Palace.
Lunch at a community restaurant, Lakou Lakay. Transfer to the airport for
the flight to Port-au-Prince to the elegant Kinam Hotel. Dinner served at
Portofino Italian restaurant (B, L, D)
Day 3: Thursday, February 16
After Breakfast, we will venture on a HISTORIC CITY tour including:
Statues of the Heroes, Champ de Mars, the Heroes’ square, and the
famous gingerbread houses that date back over 120 years. Learn about
the history of this tiny rebellious island. Visit to the majestic Pantheon
Museum and have lunch at one of Haiti’s top rated restaurants, Les Jardin du Mupanah. After lunch, visit the unique village of Noailles in the
area of Croix des Bouquets where every house is a metal sculpture workshop. And every workshop has its own different designs, all made out
of recycled steel drums or parts of old cars. There is such a choice that
you will need to bring an extra suitcase to take home all your bargains!!
From Trees of Life, to little metal trivets with dragonflies or butterflies,
and beautiful Haitian designed crosses, some in the natural metal color,
some in iridescent colors. From little angels with gold wings to Nativity
sets with the characters with gold halos and wings. From original Vodoo
designs which will look spectacular on your wall inside or outside. You
name it, you can get it here. Return to the hotel for some free time.
Dinner on your own at famous Latin Quarter with music. Overnite at the

Day 4: Friday, February 17
After Breakfast, check out of Kinam Hotel and head to Jacmel. We will
arrive in Jacmel for lunch then check into Hotel Cyvadier Plage. Take
time to unpack and enjoy the facilities. Cyvadier Plage for dinner. (B,D)
Day 5: Saturday, February 18
After Breakfast, we will have a walking tour of Jacmel by local guide
Michael, then the afternoon will be spent at Bassin Blue Waterfall area
or take free time on your own for beach, swimming and relaxing. Buffet
dinner will be served at the hotel with special entertainment by Xaragua
Folklore Dance group. (B, D)
Day 6: Sunday, February 19
After Breakfast, have some free time to wander around Jacmel and
see the carnival groups starting to perform (creative groups rather than
musical groups). Then ascend to our private balcony to experience the
Start of Jacmel carnival at the Town Hall (Hotel de Ville) and watch all
the fun activities on Ave Baranquilla during the day and night.

Day 7: Monday, February 20
After a leisurely Breakfast, check out and head to Port au Prince airport
or continue on to the Royal DeCameron resort in Montrouis. (B)
Those who choose to “add on” will return February 23rd. Transfer to the
International airport, from the beach hotel for your outbound flight.

Monday, February 20 through Wednesday, February 23
After check out in Jacmel, begin the journey to this beautiful beachfront compound. Stop for lunch break in Port au Prince. Arrive mid-day
to check in and relax. The mountains form a gorgeous backdrop.
This resort offers unlimited food and drinks included. The resort has
entertainment and optional side trips or just enjoy all this Eden has to
offer. Transfer back to Port au Prince Airport is included. The hotel is
