A message from
Dr. Hilt Tatum, Jr.
First, I want to thank each and every
one of you for helping to make 2014
a very successful and memorable
year. Tatum Surgical was very
fortunate to continue to grow in
2014. This is a direct result of the
support, loyalty, and confidence
of our customers, mentors, and
educators who are spreading the
NIRISAB philosophy.
We are excited to enter into 2015 with new products and
a new look for The Tatum Times. You will notice that the
banner proudly displays that we have 34 years of clinical
use. During this time, I have insisted that the cost of our
Implants and components stay the same. The Tatum Team
works hard to provide you with an economical implant so
you can pass the savings onto your patients.
We are also proud to announce that, we now offer The
Tatum EZ-Fitation Bone Screw Kit. We are confident that
this will make placing RMTB bone blocks easier and also
more predictable.
Again, thank you for your support in 2014, your dedication
to Implant Dentistry today, and the opportunity for us to
serve you in the future.

Congratulations Dr. Vincent Daniels!
The Tatum Institute was honored to have Dr. Vincent Daniels attend all
four modules in 2014. Dr. Daniels is an exceptional student that always
brings a smile and an open mind to each course. One of his classmates
summed it up by saying, “Dr. Daniels makes me want to be a better
dentist and also a better human being.” His positive and respectful

2014 USER OF THE YEAR
Dr. Timothy Hacker
Dr. Tim Hacker
graduated in 1978
from The University
of Tennessee College
of Dentistry. He first
learned about Tatum
Surgical through the
Alabama Implant
Study Group in
1992. Dr. Hacker became a Tatum Implant
user after completing the AAID Maxi-Course
in implant dentistry in 1999. He is an Honored
Fellow of the AAID and Diplomat of the
ABOI/ID. He is past president of the AAID
Southern District and currently serving as
Secretary/Treasurer of the Alabama Implant
Study Group. Tim is also presenting the
application of Locator Abutments with Tatum
Surgical implants for the AAID Central/
Western District meeting in Chicago, June
11-13 this year. He is also an accomplished
watercolor artist (www.timhackerfineart.
com), and instrument rated private pilot.
You can also hear his voice on 7 CDs singing
with his Praise and Worship a-cappella group.
Tatum Surgical is so proud to call Dr. Hacker
