CUP Assisted Data Import
Recommended usability enhancements for Assisted
Data Import in GP software systems
These recommendations will be made to vendors through the Clinical
Document – My Health Record Usability Recommendations (version 1.4),
following clinical consultation
Clinical Information System (CIS) screens are generic mock-ups and are not
representative of any software vendor system
Contact your software vendor for information on how these enhancements
will be incorporated in the software that you are using

The following mock-ups are a visual representation of CUP
recommendations for assisted data import. The
enhancements demonstrated include:
1. Accessing the ‘assisted data import’ functionality
2. Displaying the assisted medicines import screen
3. ‘Importing’ a medicine to the patient’s local record i.e. selecting a
medicine from the clinical document to ‘add’ to the patient’s local record
