The Employee Assistance Program provides confidential assessment,
counseling, consultation and referral services to CHLA employees,
physicians, volunteers, students and their immediate families.

3 Breastfeeding is BEST for babies and Childrens Hospital supports a
breastfeeding friendly environment for their employees.
3 Employees are able to purchase personal pumping attachment kits
at a discounted rate through the nutrition department.
3 There are Hollister pumps available for use on the floors and pump
rooms located on 2 West, 3 West and 5 West for employees to use.
3 If an employee would like information on breastfeeding before or after
giving birth we have a dedicated group of lactation educators on staff
that can help!

Tuition Assistance
ELIGIBILITY
You must be a full-time employee for one year. Coursework taken must be
directly related to your present job or to a job that you could progress to
within the hospital.
REIMBURSEMENT
The hospital reimburses 75% of tuition and registration fees, up to $300
per quarter.
APPLICATION PERIODS
3 For coursework ending January 1 to March 31: the application period is the
entire month of April.
3 For coursework ending April1 to June 30: the application period is the
entire month of July.
3 For coursework ending July 1 to September 30: the application period is the
entire month of October.
3 For coursework ending October 1 to December 31: the application period is
the entire month of January.
