Q: How does the redemption work?
A: An email notification will be sent when you earn $50 in cash back.
Your cash back will automatically be available to request with your
Citi Dividend 2G Card. Simply press the Request Rewards button on
your card at the time of purchase. Depending on the cost of the
item you are purchasing and your Dividend Dollars balance
available for redemption at the time of the purchase, you will
redeem a portion or the complete balance of your cash back.
Q: Do I earn cash back when I press the
Request Rewards button?
A: Yes. One of the benefits of the Citi Dividend 2G Card is that you
will earn cash back for the complete purchase amount even
when you press the Request Rewards button on your card.

the Citi Dividend 2G Card.
Q: What happens if I press the Request Rewards button,
but my available cash back is less than the total cost
of the purchase?
A: When you press the Request Rewards button, the entire amount
of the purchase will post as a credit transaction and you will
request to use your available cash back up to the amount of the
purchase. If your available cash back is less than your purchase
amount, the full available cash back at the time of purchase will
be applied as a statement credit.
Q: How do I know how much cash back is available to
request to redeem with my Citi Dividend 2G Card?
A: To check your cash back balance, please call the Customer
Service number on the back of your card.
Q: What happens if I don’t press a button while making
a purchase?
A: A button will need to be pressed to switch on the card at the
time of purchase. In the event that a button is not pressed,
the card will not switch on, and you will not be able to
complete your purchase.
Q: Why do I have to sign for the full amount of my purchase
when I request to use my Dividend Dollars to pay?
A: Every transaction will post as a credit transaction for the full
amount of the purchase. If Dividend Dollars are available,
they will be redeemed and appear as a redemption credit on
your billing statement within 1-2 cycles. You will not see this
amount deducted at the point-of-sale, but rather, as a credit
on your statement.
Q: Can I still use my Citi Dividend 2G Card to make
purchases online?
A: Yes, enter your card information as you normally would
and you’ll earn cash back on purchases you make online.
However, you will not be able to request to redeem cash
back for online purchases.

A: The battery in your card is designed to last as long as the
card. If you have a problem with the card, please call the
Customer Service number on the back of your card.
Q: What if the light doesn’t turn on or the card
doesn’t work?
A: Press a button and verify if the light comes on. If it does not
turn on, there may be a problem with the card. Please call
the Customer Service number on the back of your card.
In the unlikely event your Citi Dividend 2G Card should stop
working, please use your standard Citi Dividend Card.
Q: Is the card x-ray safe (through airport security)?

Q: Should I be concerned about running out of
battery power?
A: The light on your card is blinking to indicate that your payment
choice has been activated and ready for use. The card will
remain active for approximately 8 minutes before or 20 seconds
after it is swiped. The card can be reswiped if needed, within this
period, without the need to press a button to reactivate the card.
Q: How do I turn the card off?
A: The card will turn off automatically 20 seconds after it is swiped.
You may also press the selected button for 3 seconds and the
card will be turned off.
A: Yes, airport x-ray scans will not affect the card.
Q: Can I get the card wet?
A: While the card is completely laminated and will function
normally if exposed to water, we recommend keeping
it away from water and other liquids, as well as any
extreme conditions.
Q: Who can I contact if I have further questions about my
Citi Divided 2G Card or how it works?
A: You can contact Customer Service at the number on the
back of your card.

exceeds your revolving credit limit is paid in full each month.
