A collection of handmade Swedish inspired furniture for your home
Welcome
Welcome to the world of Nordic Style, created over twenty years ago in Chelsea,
London. The founder, Moussie Sayers, developed the business following no
particular business plan. She was simply driven by a genuine love and passion of
original Swedish Interiors from her homeland.
This is how the Gustavian style, generally accredited to King Gustav III, was
introduced to England, as painted furniture was then unheard of. It was indeed
the famous Nordic light that was brought into English homes. Not only did the
colour palette perfectly suit the small London spaces, but the classic and timeless
elegance of the furniture also responded to a clear gap in the British market.
Over 20 years on, now under new ownership, the company now produces
our own ranges of stunning furniture in our own factory. The Premium items
of furniture are still manufactured and imported from their original sources in
Sweden – but are now painted in our factory to ensure consistency of finish
and speed of delivery. We offer stunning furniture for every room in the house
all created from original designs and pieces. We also produce our own range of
Swedish fabrics and textiles and of course the necessary elegant accessories to
create the calm and harmonious interiors appreciated by so many.
Our original Chelsea Showroom still remains
at the end of Lots Road, at the opposite end
to Chelsea Harbour. It is packed full of our
furniture, textiles and accessories all creating a
calm and harmonious shopping experience in
stunning surroundings.

arrange onward delivery to the whole of the
UK, Europe and selected parts of the rest of the
World.

creates a truly magnificent piece.

Our solid oak tops can be finished with a heat resistant wax varnish or a more clinical light oak with five coats of Danish oil.

Our water-based furniture varnish is designed to be used over the furniture glaze once it has been applied on top of the
furniture paint. It finishes the Nordic Style painting process and creates a hard wearing wipeable surface to protect the
furniture. It is available in matte, Satin and Gloss varying sheens. Gloss will provide the greatest level of protection however
matte is more in-keeping with the Nordic Style scheme.

Nordic Style Sweden Ltd Delivery Charges
1. Nordic Style Sweden Ltd, Company Registration 07101846, is a UK registered and based company that is primarily a
retail business and is configured and set up to sell directly to the General Public. This brochure’s Terms and Conditions
apply to direct purchases by the General Public and not trade transactions that have totally separate Terms to be agreed
at time of contract.
Rate 1 - Small items that can be sent by Courier.
2. Goods are to be paid for in full at the time of order.
3. We aim to deliver stock items within 15 working days of receiving payment in full, but bespoke items and non-stock
items can take longer.
4. Damages and shortages are to be reported at the time of delivery before the driver leaves, no claims will be dealt with if
they are not reported at the time of delivery or collection.
5. Our painted furniture products may vary in colour from batch to batch but we do endeavour to maintain consistency.
Handles, Hinges and other Furniture Accessories may be swapped for alternatives if the ones used in the photograph are
no longer available from the trade.
6. Our standard paint colour is Swedish White. Other paint colours from our ‘Premium’ Range can be provided for 30% on
top of the Swedish White price.
7. All prices in this brochure are Retail Prices and include 20% VAT.
8. Orders cancelled any time before delivery will be subject to a 50% cancellation charge.
9. Title to goods shall only pass when Nordic Style Sweden Ltd has received cleared funds in full.
10. Our deliveries are conducted for us by an external Fulfilment and Distribution Company who are experts at what they
do and fully insured to move our products. In the unlikely event that claims for damages to property whilst deliveries
are carried out are needed, these are to be made directly with the delivery company who has their own insurances for
this activity.
11. Goods cannot be returned due to ‘unsuitability’ under the distance trading regulation because we are not a mail order
business and do not process orders online.
12. Delivery charge for mainland UK are displayed on our web site www.nordicstyle.com
13. We can arrange deliveries to Northern Ireland, Eire and other overseas countries, please call for a quote.
14. The majority of our furniture is fully assembled cabinet built so it’s vital that access points are measured in advance of
your delivery. We will do all we can to assist and will explore every possibility to get the furniture to the final position
that you desire. However, if the delivery team think it is not possible then we may ask to leave the item in a safe and
convenient alternative location. Goods will not be taken back or refunded if they do not fit where they have been
purchased for.
