The former Campbell Soup plant in Listowel was purchased by Erie Meat Products of Mississauga. The facility will be used to ship 50-60 million pounds of poultry to world markets on an annual basis. In 2010, Ontario’s Premier Dalton McGuinty announced the company would receive a $3,000,000 provincial investment for training and to update the existing food processing facility.
