Repeat Performance Technology
Our materials offer repeat performance technology,
whereas hard shell protectors can only take one impact
and should be discarded immediately after a fall.
Flexibility and 3D mould-ability
A combination of Nitrex technology and multi-layers has
enabled Forcefield to offer lightweight and flexible
protectors. This allows the armour to flex with the
body and not be restricted by it.
All Forcefield Body Armour® is fully
CE approved.
Breathability
The unique triangular Nitrex outer grid has been
designed with special vent holes at the base for
extra breathability and also reduces weight.
Nexton/Nylair
Nexton/Nylair is a hollow polyamide fibre with excellent
thermal properties. The hollow fibre not only reduces
weight but allows air to become trapped therefore
further enhancing its insulation properties. Nylair is
capable of keeping the wearer warm with one third
less weight, creating a garment that is non-bulky but
exceedingly breathable and thermally responsive.
Defender fabric
Defender fabric is a cutting edge material that blocks
airflow from the outside whilst still remaining fully
breathable and comfortable.
Thermolite®
Thermolite® provides warmth and comfort without
weight, even when wet. The fabric is made with
engineered hollow-core fibres that trap air for greater
insulation. Wearers stay dry as Thermolite® dries 20%
faster than other materials and 50% faster than cotton.
BeCool™
BeCool™ is a polyamide fibre with integrated airflow
control. Through a four-channeled section BeCool™
has a greater diffusion surface than ordinary rounded
sections. These four channeled sections increase
efficiency in maintaining body temperature by efficient
body cooling.
