Housed on the 2nd floor of the historical Smithson– Mc Kay
Building, our newly renovated banquet facility offers the
best of the Northwest. Views of the Fremont Bridge,
Downtown, and the West Hills of Portland complement the
rooms’ rich colors and crafted woodwork, much of which
has been restored to it’s original beauty.
Whether you are planning a corporate meeting or event,
rehearsal dinner, birthday gathering, holiday party, or other
special occasion, our banquet rooms are sure to exceed your
expectations. Our unique menu, which complements our
award winning beers, includes buffet platters and plated
options.
Provide a memorable experience for your guests by hosting
a Personalized Brewer’s Dinner or including a private tour of our state of the art
brewing facility.
Location:
The entrance to the banquet rooms is located up the sidewalk from the main entrance to
the Gasthaus and has an address of 947. If your guests are arriving by vehicle, we have
two parking lots at the intersection of Mississippi and N. Russell as well as a gravel lot
across from the restaurant. Complimentary Street parking is also available. Your guests
may also arrive on The Max Yellow Line via the Albina/ Mississippi station.

Floor plans include Conference Style, Crescent Rounds, Rounds, and U-Shape Seating
Reservations:
Reservations for the East Wing and West Wing are accepted six months prior to event.
Reservations for the Great Room are accepted one year prior to event. In order to place a
tentative hold on the banquet room, a credit card number must be provided to the
Banquet Manager. A contract, which outlines the food and beverage minimum, time and
date of the event, as well as our banquet policies, must be signed to finalize your
reservation. Your reservation is finalized once the signed contract has been returned to
the Banquet Manager.
Banquet Room Policies & Agreements
Pricing:
Food and beverage minimums apply and are based on the room reserved as well as date,
day and time of event. Event may also be subject to separate room rental fee based on
time of day reserved. An 18% gratuity is added to final food and beverage totals.
Please contact our banquet coordinators for specific pricing for your event.
Duration of Event:
Social Events are scheduled to conclude three hours from the contract confirmed arrival
time. Any event exceeding those three hours will be subject to an hourly room usage
rate of $100.00/hour. The event space is available 30 minutes prior to the contract confirmed arrival time for décor set up.
Décor:
China, glassware, silverware, napkins, buffet linens & skirting, tables, and chairs are
included in banquet room rental. House Centerpieces are also available. Table
decorations, excluding confetti, are welcomed. Decorations that need to be tacked or
taped to walls, doors or windows are not allowed. All candles must be contained and
not pose a fire hazard.
Catering:
All food must be purchased by one host and charged to one master bill. Food and
Beverage Menus must be finalized no later then two weeks prior to the event to ensure
product availability.
No outside Food is permitted except for Dessert Items, which are subject to a $1 per
guest fee. Cutlery, napkins, and cake cutting are included in the fee.
Guests are welcome to provide their own wine for their event. Our corkage fee is $10
per 750ml bottle.
Guarantee:
Final guest count and plated entrée pre-counts are required one week prior to the event.
If no verbal or written guarantee is received, the originally contracted guest count will
used as the final guest count.
Payment:
At the conclusion of the event, the host will be presented an itemized bill and receipt,
which will require a signature. Full payment is due at the conclusion of the event. We
accept cash, American Express, Visa and Master Card. Personal checks will not be
accepted.
Audio Visual:
Complimentary Wireless Internet is available in the Banquet Rooms. Easels are
available for poster display. A Screen, In Focus Projector, Podium, Podium
Microphone, 42” Flat Screen TV, and DVD player are available for daily rental. Sports
Games can be shown during your event for an additional charge.
Cancellation:
If the host chooses to cancel the event after the reservation has been finalized, the host
will be subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are based on the date ranges listed
in the chart below, and will be billed to the credit card on file.

Damages:
Widmer Gasthaus is not responsible for any materials lost, stolen, damaged or left behind. Should any guest cause damage to our facility or AV equipment rentals, the host
will be responsible for any damage charges that incur.
Corporate Meetings
Food and beverage minimums apply and are based on the room reserved as well as date,
day and time of event. Event may also be subject to separate room rental fee based on
time of day reserved. An 18% gratuity is added to final food and beverage totals.

Dinner Buffet Selections

Personalized Brewer’s Dinner:
$50.00 per person
Personalized Brewer’s Dinners are available for hosts wishing to provide a guaranteed
memorable experience for their guests. Our Banquet Manager & Chef will work with
you to create a personalized four course menu, which includes an appetizer, salad,
entrée and dessert. Each course is paired with a 10 oz. glass of Widmer Brothers beer
and one of our knowledgeable brewery tour guides will provide commentary through
each course.

Plated Dinners
As host, please choose a plated dinner menu tier for your event. No substitutions
amongst menu tiers. Vegetarian options and Children’s Pasta entrées are available.
Please inquire with our banquet coordinators any special menu requests.
Plated Dinner Menu selections must be confirmed no later than two weeks prior to the
event. Dinner entrée pre-counts and final guest count are required no later than one
week prior to the event. The final count is the minimum number of guests for which the
host will be charged. If pre-counts are not available, the host will be required to select
one entrée option for their guests from the chosen menu.
Menu Selections
All plated dinners include a salad course, dinner rolls, entrée, Chef’s selection of starch
and seasonal vegetable, dessert, and choice of Coffee or Iced tea. As host, please select
which salad, entrée tier, and dessert selection you would like to offer to your guests.
For any plated dinner, add a starter course of small cup of our beer cheese soup for
$2.00/ guest.
Beef selections are prepared medium rare to medium in all plated tiers.
Children’s macaroni and cheese is available in all menu tiers and priced at $8.95 each

As the host, please select a menu tier as you will have three dinner entrees to offer to your guests.

Platinum Menu: $32 per person
Pan seared beef tenderloin with a jalapeno cream sauce and roasted tomatoes
Wild Alaskan salmon, grilled and served with a spinach parmesan sauce
Herbed filled crepes filled with sautéed seasonal vegetables
Gold Menu: $28 per person
Chicken breast and bratwurst sausage duo with a red cabbage slaw and a whole grain mustard sauce
Grilled Oregon coast rockfish served in a spicy tomato broth
Israeli couscous risotto with sautéed seasonal vegetables
Silver Menu: $24 per person
Grilled flat iron steak with beer-braised onions and blue cheese

Cake Cutting Fee
Guests are welcome to provide their own Cake or Dessert Items, which is subject to a $1
per guest fee. Cutlery, napkins, and cake cutting are included in the fee.
Beverage Options:
The Widmer Banquet Rooms serve a variety of fine crafted
Widmer Brothers Beers, wines from Northwest wineries, as
well as several non alcoholic selections including our
Hand Crafted Root Beer.
Service Options:
No-Host Beverage Service:
If you would like to offer a no host beverage service, your guests would be responsible
for their own beverage purchases. Servers will be available to take individual drink orders and arrange payment with each guest.
Hosted Beverage Service:
If you would like to offer a hosted beverage service, your guest’s drinks will be charged
to the final master bill. Please select which drinks you would like to host at your event.
You can offer a Hosted Individual Service or a Hosted Beverage Table. If you are on a
budget, a limit can be set on the bar tab.
Hosted Individual Service:
If you choose to host individual service at your event, our servers will be available to
take individual drink orders from each guest throughout the event. Your guests will be
able to order a Pint of Beer, Glass of Wine, or Soft Drink from our servers. The charges
will be billed to the final master bill.
Hosted Beverage Table:
A beverage table is a great option if you are hosting beverages for your group. Please
select which non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages you would like to offer to your
guests. A self service beverage table will be set up in the banquet room with your
beverage selections. Banquet Servers will replenish the selections as needed.

Widmer Hefeweizen
The original American-style Hefeweizen, Widmer Hefeweizen is left in its natural, unfiltered state to retain a pronounced citrus and floral aroma, complex flavor, and crisp,
refreshing finish. An unforgettable.
Drifter Pale Ale
Drifter Pale Ale is brewed with Summit Hops, a newly released, trademarked, short
trellis hop variety known for its intense amount of citrusy aromas and flavors. True to
style, this Pale Ale’s bittering hops are perceptible enough to give the beer a crisp,
clean, quenching finish, yet also soft enough to keep the beer smooth and balanced.
Drop Top Amber Ale
A rich, flavorful amber ale, with an exceptionally smooth and easy taste. Uniquely
brewed with honey malt and just a touch of milk sugar, Drop Top’s silky character
yields complex flavors without a trace of harshness. Easy to drink and easy to appreciate
for any beer drinker.
Rotator IPA
Our Rotator IPA series was born out of our brewing team’s desire to experiment with
and enthusiasm for the IPA style of beer. Widmer Brothers’ Rotator IPA Series features
an ever-changing offering of different IPA brews. Rotator Series beers will be available
in limited quantities and are only available while supplies last. Widmer Brothers’
brewers will handcraft each IPA sequentially

Include a private tour of our state of the art brewing facility
during your event or meeting.
Tours are available with our knowledgeable guides at a flat rate
of $25 per group per tour. Tastings are not included.

Widmer Brothers Retail items, which include bottled beer, growlers, pint glasses, and
gift certificates are available for purchase through your Banquet Manager.

Bottled Beer : Bottled Beer must be purchased by the case. Each case
includes four 6 pks of beer and their carriers. Each case is priced at $20.00 plus $1.20
bottle deposit.
Growler: A Growler is a great way for guests to carry their favorite
Widmer draft beer home. Each growler will be presented with a coupon
for one complimentary fill, which will serve an average of four pint
glasses. Your guest can either fill their growler before they leave the event
or come back at another time. Available for $15.00 each
Pint Glasses:
Widmer Brothers Imperial Pint Glasses are available for purchase
at $5 per glass.
