Le conseil d’administration, la direction et l’équipage souhaitent accorder dorénavant
une attention toute particulière au secteur professionnel. Dans ce contexte, et en
complément d’une infrastructure de qualité exceptionnelle, ont été développés des
nouveaux produits et services spécifiques pour le domaine MICE - Meetings,
Incentives, Conferences, Events. Outre ces aspects, il est indispensable de souligner
l’envergure historico-politique et le prestige de notre bateau. Bon nombre de
moments importants, dont la signature de l’accord de Schengen, se sont déroulés à
son bord par le passé.

Der Verwaltungsrat, die Geschäftsführung und die Bordmannschaft möchten
zukünftig ein besonderes Augenmerk auf den Geschäftsbereich legen. In diesem
Zusammenhang, und ergänzend zu einer hochwertigen Infrastruktur, wurden
zielgruppenspezifische Produkte und Dienstleistungen für den MICE-Bereich Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events - ausgearbeitet. Des Weiteren gilt es die
historisch-politische Dimension und das Prestige unseres Schiffes hervorzuheben.
Etliche Ereignisse von Bedeutung, allen voran die Unterzeichnung des Schengener
Übereinkommens, fanden bereits in der Vergangenheit an Bord statt.
Lassen auch Sie sich, für Ihre besondere Anlässe, von diesem außgewöhnlichen

The M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid is, as of now, casting off for new horizons. Hence,
the board of directors, the management and the crew intend to give special attention
to the professional sector. In this respect, and in addition to an infrastructure of
exceptional quality, new products and services have been developed, specifically for
the MICE sector - Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events. Besides this features,
it is essential to underline the historical and political scope as well as the status of
our boat. Up to now, a good number of important events have taken place on board,
the signing of the Schengen Agreement being the major one.

Gastronomie et Vin
Le terroir mosellan regorge d’exquises richesses, qui n’attendent qu’à être
dégustées. Notre chef et sa brigade se distinguent par leur savoir-faire et
créativité, tout en privilégiant les excellents produits locaux de saison. Les
traditions culinaires du pays, mises à l’honneur régulièrement, permettent
la délicieuse découverte d’une culture aux milles saveurs. Notre carte des
vins richement fournie en produits mosellans et notre volonté de valoriser
le vignoble mosellan dans sa diversité ont été une fois de plus honorées par
le titre «Ambassadeur des Vins et Crémants Luxembourgeois».
Gastronomie und Wein
Das Terroir des Luxemburger Moseltals bietet eine bunte Vielfalt an kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten. Unser Küchenchef und seine Brigade pflegen eine
leidenschaftliche Vorliebe für die Verarbeitung von frischen und saisonalen
Produkten aus der Region - und dies, mit „savoir-faire“ und Kreativität. Die
landestypische Küchenkultur, welche regelmäßig an Bord hervorgehoben
wird, entführt unsere Gäste in die genussvolle Welt der hiesigen Geschmäcker. Unsere Weinkarte, reichlich mit ausgezeichneten Moseltropfen
bestückt, und unsere Bemühungen die Vielfalt der Luxemburgischen Weinberge zu präsentieren wurden aufs Neue mit der Auszeichnung „Botschafter
der Luxemburger Weine und Crémants“ geehrt.

Gastronomy and Wine
La région mosellane, caractérisée par ses vignobles à perte de vue, est un havre de
paix et de tranquillité aux paysages splendides. Ses gens accueillants, ses
charmantes petites bourgades viticoles, ses vignerons passionnés, ses coutumes et
traditions ancestrales ou encore l’importance historico-politique du petit village
de Schengen ne sont que quelques-unes des facettes qui font de ce petit bout
de terre, situé à l’est du Grand-Duché, une coulisse propice à sublimer toute
occasion professionnelle ou privée.
The Terroir of the Moselle region is filled with exquisite richness that is only
waiting to be discovered. Our Chef and his team are characterised by their
know-how and creativity, with a particular focus on the outstanding local
and seasonal products. Regularly showcased, the country’s culinary traditions, allow to explore the myriad flavours of a delightful culture. Our wine
menu, richly engaged with Moselle products, and our will to support the
Moselle vineyards with its diversity, were all once again honoured with the
title „Ambassador of Luxembourgish Wines and Crémants“.

Gästen als wahre Erholungs- und Ruheoase mit traumhaften Landschaftsbildern
bestens bekannt. Gastfreundliche Menschen, charmante Winzerdörfer, leidenschaft­
liche Winzer, uralte Sitten und Bräuche sowie die historisch-politische Bedeutung
der kleinen Ortschaft Schengen sind nur einige Facetten, die diesen einzigartigen
Erdfleck, im Osten des Großherzogtums gelegen, zu einer herrlichen Kulisse für
berufliche oder private Anlässe aufblühen lässt.

Characterized by its vineyards as far as the eyes can see, the Moselle region is a
haven of peace and tranquillity with splendid landscapes. Its warm and welcoming
people, its charming small wine-growing towns, its passionate wine growers, its

the Schengen village are only some of the features that make this small piece of

Le M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid allie confort, luxe et élégance - et ce de
poupe en proue. Un soin tout particulier a été accordé à l’installation d’un
équipement technique moderne et à l’utilisation de matériaux de qualité.
Outre l’équipement MICE préinstallé à bord, nous disposons d’un catalogue
«matériel et équipement technique MICE sur demande » sujet à satisfaire
toutes les attentes et exigences de nos passagers professionnels.

und Ausrüstung
Die M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid vereint feinsinnig und schlicht, vom Bug
zum Heck, Komfort, Luxus und Eleganz. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wurde
auf den Einsatz einer modernen technischen Ausrüstung, sowie auf die
Verwendung von hochwertigen Materialien gelegt. Ergänzend zur vorhandenen
MICE-Ausrüstung, haben wir einen hausinternen Katalog „Technisches
Material und Ausstattung MICE auf Anfrage“ erstellt, um den Bedürfnissen
und Anforderungen unserer professionellen Gäste gerecht zu werden.

Le M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid
Depuis 1966, l’Entente Touristique de la Moselle Luxembourgeoise est active dans
le domaine de la navigation fluviale. En date du 14 juin 1985, le M.S. Princesse
Marie-Astrid jeta son ancre près de la petite bourgade viticole de Schengen. À son
bord, des hauts-représentants des États du BeNeLux, de la République fédérale
d’Allemagne et de la France. C’est lors de cette journée historique que fut signé
l’accord de Schengen. Le nom Princesse Marie-Astrid et celui de Schengen sont
ainsi entrés dans l’histoire contemporaine. L’actuel bateau, 5e du nom, constitue la
fierté de toute une région et représente un des plus prestigieux emblèmes de la
Moselle Luxembourgeoise.
Die M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid
Seit 1966 ist die Tourismusvereinigung der Luxemburger Mosel, mit der Inbetriebnahme Ihres ersten Schiffes, in der Flussnavigation etabliert. Am 14. Juni 1985 warf
die M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid seinen Anker in der Nähe des Winzerdorfes Schengen.
An Bord verweilten hochrangige Vertreter der Benelux-Staaten, der Bundesrepublik
Deutschland und Frankreichs. An jenem historischen Tag wurde das Schengener
Übereinkommen unterzeichnet. Somit traten die Namen Princesse Marie-Astrid und
Schengen in die zeitgenössische Geschichte ein. Das aktuelle Schiff, Stolz einer
ganzen Region und 5. einer erfolgreichen Serie, ist das prunkvolle Wahrzeichen der
Luxemburger Mosel.
The M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid
Since 1966, the „Entente Touristique de la Moselle Luxembourgeoise“ is established
in the field of the river navigation. On the 14th of June 1985, the M.S. Princesse
Marie-Astrid anchored near the small winegrowers‘ village Schengen. Onboard
were senior representatives from the BeNelux states, the Federal Republic of
Germany and France. On that historic day, the Schengen Agreement was signed
and ever since, the names Princesse Marie-Astrid and Schengen have been a part
of contemporary history. The 5th and current boat represents the pride of a whole
region and a prestigious emblem of the Luxembourgish Moselle.
The M.S. Princesse Marie-Astrid combines, from stem to stern, comfort,
luxury and elegance. Particular attention has been given to the installation
of modern technical equipment as well as the usage of high quality materials.
In addition to the pre-installed MICE equipment, a catalogue of „technical
material and equipment MICE on demand“ is available in order to meet the
needs and requirements of our professional passengers.
