Candidate Application - Planning and Land Use Committee
Questions:
1. I have a BFA in Environmental Design which included designing selfsufficient communities I also worked with teams of Engineers for more
than 15 years always toward one common goal. I also worked a temp
job with the City of Los Angeles, Department of Transportation, where I
created maintenance manual for city signage.
2. I see it becoming an enjoyable, multicultural city enclave with unique
features and quality community destinations. I would involve myself in
the infrastructure to create safety, beauty and preserve cultural
elements, enhance landmarks to include as a tourist destination.
3. Homogeny. Development of unity to utilize the influx of multicultural professional residents displaced from the middle-class job
markets.
4. Repair sidewalks, creating an attractive pattern throughout the
community. Replace large rooted sidewalk trees and sell to landscaper
companies or relocate to more accommodating location like parks.
Activate Mariachi Square to include as a tourist destination, highlighting
quality eateries and clubs. Acquire Sponsors to place unique community
design features, such as "State of the Art" bus shelters, and trash
receptacles. Post cameras atop poles facing dangerous corners where
there are frequent acts of crime and shootings.
