Safety & Warnings
Caution
The kit is not a “plug in” type installation. The wiring within the
vehicle must be amended and the AutoSPRAY interface wired
“inline”.
It is recommended that all electrical wiring should be installed by
a qualified auto-electrician. Incorrect wiring may damage the
AutoSPRAY controller and/ or the spray rate controller.

Instruction
1.
Check that the spray controller and boom section switches are
functioning correctly before commencing the installation.
2.
Disconnect the battery to ensure that no electrical damage can occur
during installation.
3.
The 1-0302 Spra-Coupe AutoSPRAY
interface box can be mounted to
the cab wall using the double sided
tape affixed to the rear of the
housing.
Ensure the surface of the cab is
clean and free from dirt and grease.

Route the input wires
upward toward the boom
switch panel.
The Input wires are fitted
with female push on
terminals.
The Output wires are fitted
with male push on
terminals.
5.
Carefully remove the four (4) plastic
retaining screws from the boom
switch panel as shown.
6.
Cut the large cable ties that
secure the wiring harness
in place under the dash.

Lift the heavy Orange loom
which leads toward the
fuse panel so that the rear
of the switch panel can be
accessed.
View into console from the
front. Hand throttle
linkages can be seen on
the left.

Lay the switch
panel over to the
left on its side to
reveal the
underside wiring
and make it
accessible.

Use a rocking action to gently remove the
two yellow wires from the boom section
switch tabs, leaving the piggy-backed rate
controller wire still attached to the end
yellow wire of each switch.

Remove the cable tie on the
Yellow wires (removed from
boom section switches in Step
9).
Carefully route the cables down
to the front of the side console
and forward through the other
cabling.
The wires should easily show
through the front underside of
the console.
There should be 10 yellow wires
and 5 other wires.
11.
Fit the Blue
Input wire
with female
connector
from the
1-0302
Interface
box to the
leftmost
switch tab.
Refer to
the
APPENDIX A Boom Switch Connection Table
Left and right are referenced to the switch panel being in its normal
upright position and viewed from the rear of the vehicle looking toward
the front.
12.
Repeat Step 11 for the remainder of the Input wires.
Work from left to right as per the APPENDIX A Boom Switch
Connection Table in sequence with the switch tabs. Finish with the
Grey wire fitted to the far right tab.

Instruction
Take care to connect the wires to the correct locations and in the
correct order according to APPENDIX A Boom Switch Connection
Table. Mixing up the wires will cause damage to the sprayer and/or
its systems.
Warning
13.
Ensure all wires are properly insulated, with no exposed conductors.
14.
Refer to APPENDIX B Software settings to connect the Output wires
from the 1-0302 interface box to the yellow solenoid wires located
below the dash.
Use the Wire Numbers and the piggy backed Rate Controller Wire Colour
as a reference.
15.
Ensure all wires are properly insulated, with no exposed conductors.
16.
Tie the output wires up to the existing wiring loom under the dash. The
cables should not be strained tight but should be clear of any moving
parts and the operator.
Output wires insulated and tied to the harness for safety and neatness.
17.
To fit the Master Input wire,
remove the yellow wire
numbered 525 from the Spray
Pump (master) switch and fit a
supplied push on two way
adapter to the switch tab.
Re-fit the yellow wire number
525 to the Spray Pump switch.
Connect the Master Input wire
(Yellow/Red) to the spare tab
of the push-on two-way adapter.
Master Input wire & yellow wire #525 fitted to push-on two-way
adapter which has been removed from the switch for clarity.
18.
Route the Master Input wire down to the front of the side console to
emerge near the 1-0302 Spra-Coupe AutoSPRAY interface box.

19.
Connect the Master Input wire to the matching coloured short
Yellow/Red wire which is labelled ‘MASTER’ on the 1-0302 AutoSPRAY
interface box.

Reassemble the switch panel. It may be necessary to pull down the
cabling on the underside of the panel to allow the panel to seat
correctly.
Re-insert the four (4) retaining screws and tighten.
21.
All cabling on the underside of the dash should be checked and tied as
required.
22.
Re-connect the vehicle battery.
23.
Confirm that the spray controller still displays the correct flow rate and
boom section switches function correctly before connecting the cable
from the 1-0302 Spra-Coupe AutoSPRAY interface box to the
AutoSPRAY controller.
24.
Connect the 16 pin round connector from the 1-0302 Spra-Coupe
AutoSPRAY interface box to the AutoSPRAY controller.
25.
Confirm that the spray controller, AutoSPRAY and boom section
switches function correctly.
26.
Change appropriate software settings according to APPENDIX B
Software settings.
