The wiring within the vehicle must be amended and the AutoSPRAY interface wired “inline”. It is recommended that all electrical wiring should be installed by a qualified auto-electrician. Incorrect wiring may damage the AutoSPRAY controller and/ or the spray rate controller. Installation Schematic layout of typical installation Step Instruction 1. Check that the spray controller and boom section switches are functioning correctly before commencing the installation. 2. Disconnect the battery to ensure that no electrical damage can occur during installation. 3. The 1-0302 Spra-Coupe AutoSPRAY interface box can be mounted to the cab wall using the double sided tape affixed to the rear of the housing. Ensure the surface of the cab is clean and free from dirt and grease. 1-1275 Rev D Spra-Coupe AutoSPRAY Kit (Part No 1-0302) Installation Guide Page 2 Step 4. There should be 10 yellow wires and 5 other wires. 11. Fit the Blue Input wire with female connector from the 1-0302 Interface box to the leftmost switch tab. Refer to the APPENDIX A Boom Switch Connection Table Left and right are referenced to the switch panel being in its normal upright position and viewed from the rear of the vehicle looking toward the front. 12. Repeat Step 11 for the remainder of the Input wires. Work from left to right as per the APPENDIX A Boom Switch Connection Table in sequence with the switch tabs. Finish with the Grey wire fitted to the far right tab. 1-1275 Rev D Spra-Coupe AutoSPRAY Kit (Part No 1-0302) Installation Guide Page 5 Step Instruction Take care to connect the wires to the correct locations and in the correct order according to APPENDIX A Boom Switch Connection Table. Mixing up the wires will cause damage to the sprayer and/or its systems. Warning 13. Ensure all wires are properly insulated, with no exposed conductors. 14. Refer to APPENDIX B Software settings to connect the Output wires from the 1-0302 interface box to the yellow solenoid wires located below the dash. Use the Wire Numbers and the piggy backed Rate Controller Wire Colour as a reference. 15. Ensure all wires are properly insulated, with no exposed conductors. 16. Tie the output wires up to the existing wiring loom under the dash. The cables should not be strained tight but should be clear of any moving parts and the operator. Output wires insulated and tied to the harness for safety and neatness. 17. To fit the Master Input wire, remove the yellow wire numbered 525 from the Spray Pump (master) switch and fit a supplied push on two way adapter to the switch tab. Re-fit the yellow wire number 525 to the Spray Pump switch. Connect the Master Input wire (Yellow/Red) to the spare tab of the push-on two-way adapter.
