The Decision to participate had been taken at the EURON Management Meeting in Ljubljana in November 2005. The participation was offered to companies, research and universities by the organizer of AUTOMATICA, Messe Munich, at attractive terms. EURON had been one of ten participants, see following table. All material was on display. A moderator engaged the participants in regular presentations. Between presentations, visitors were motivated to inform themselves at the various booths. Due to the intense marketing for the event, press releases before the event and press coverage during and after the trade fair1 , partners reported outstanding public interest, see photo-sequence of the booth.
