Her stellar performances and hilarious characters have made her one of the leading veterans on the urban theater circuit. Latonya Simms 2103 Gdavis Productions Actress of the Year Julie is a former member of Donald Lawrence and the TriCity Singers. She played the lead role in “The Lord Will Make a Way” and was also cast in “The Real Meaning of Christmas”, Temptation, and “Diary of a Sinner” Kynya also works on the production side of Gdavis Production serving as Qlab operator for the stage play Ndugu, I”ll Be Home For Christmas and Jessie & Lucy. Javon made his debut with Gdavis Productions in Diary of a Sinner. He is also featured in Forget Me Not, Ndugu and has been cast as John Lewis in the next big thing from Gdavis Productions The Day Harlem Saved a King the urban stage play and project based around the assassination attempt of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2014 Gdavis Productions Actress of the Year She is currently touring in Davis’ Alzheimer’s Awareness production “Forget Me Not” playing the role of Renee and also touring the award winning stage play Mama’s Girls playing the role of Bre’ana. Melody makes her debut with Gdavis Productions playing the role of Michelle. Melody Reid Melody studied Media Arts, Video Production at the University of South Carolina. She resides in Charlotte, NC and enjoys being on stage. 2012 Gdavis Productions Actor of the Year Amanda Simmons Made her debut with Gdavis Productions in Ndugu. Davis states, she is sneaky funny, it just rolls off her tongue and before you know it you are laughing. Her character as one of the twins teamed with Samantha McSwain is one of the scenes that always will have you on the edge of your seat.
