CONDITIONING CREME
RELAXER
FiberGuard® Creme Relaxer (STEP 2): LConditions the hair
before, during and after chemical processing. LFormulated
with Avlon’s exclusive Fiber Strengthening Complex (FSC),
which reinforces the hair fiber structure during relaxing.
LStrengthening polymers in the relaxer creme penetrate hair
fibers leaving hair with significantly more tensile strength and
elasticity after relaxing. LSignificantly less damaging than
conventional relaxers. L Sodium Hydroxide formula available
in Mild, Normal and Resistant Strengths.
L Preserves up to 25% MORE of the hair’s strength
compared to conventional relaxers.
L Ideal solution for relaxing color-treated or damaged hair.
L Leaves hair healthy-looking and well-conditioned.
L Leaves hair silky-straight, easy to comb and perfectly
prepared for styling.
L Provides glossy, free flowing, soft, silky styles.
Directions: Following client consultation and hair and scalp
analysis, select an Affirm FiberGuard relaxer (STEP 2) strength
from the Relaxer Strength & Timing Guide. Set timer according
to guidelines shown on Relaxer Strength Selection & Timing Guide.
Part and separate hair into four sections, into halves from forehead
to nape and then into fourths from ear-to-ear. Put on gloves.
Using the back of a rattail comb or a soft bristled professional
application brush, apply an ample amount of relaxer to thinly
parted sections of hair. Begin with the back sections, working
downwards from the crown area. Proceed to the front sections,
working from the crown forward. Apply to the nape and hairline
areas last. Avoid applying the relaxer directly onto the scalp. FOR
RE-TOUCHES, APPLY RELAXER CREME TO NEW GROWTH ONLY.
AVOID OVERLAPPING ONTO PREVIOUSLY RELAXED HAIR. After
application is complete, smooth the relaxer with the back of a rattail
comb, using thin partings and working in the same direction as
during application. Do not exceed time limits shown on Relaxer
Strength Selection & Timing Guide. Once the time limit has expired
and desired straightening is achieved, rinse the relaxer completely
from hair with warm water.
IMPORTANT: For best results, use FiberGuard® Creme Relaxer
(Step 2) with other components of the FiberGuard Conditioning
Relaxer System.
