Chief Guest's Message
It gives me immense pleasure to know that CRPF Academy, Gurgaon is organizing Passing out Parade of Trainee Officers on
January 24, 2014.
I congratulate ail the Trainee Officers who are passing out from this prestigious Academy after a long and intensive training of 53
weeks. The training imparted to them has metamorphosed them into gentlemen officers with excellent combative, administrative
and leadership skills which will boost their confidence to serve the motherland.
The Central Reserve Police Force personnel are aptly known as the peace keepers of the Nation. They ensure maintenance of
law and order in the country. I am sure, the future of CRPF as well as of the whole country will remain secure and bright in the
responsible hands of these young officers.
I wish them a bright future.

Your journey here started as ordinary citizen and due to your efforts and the input from the academy, today you are passing out
as empathetic and empowered officers.
The academy taught you to respect the people of India. I expect you to always remember that you should stand for the protection
of the constitutional right of our people and strive for retaining their faith in you and in CRPF. I have every reason to believe that
all the officers of 44 A batch would be performing their duties to the delightment of citizen of this great country. The reputation
of the academy as of now is because of you trainees, having excelled in the field. I m sure no one of you would like to get your
name dragged for other reasons. I reiterate my reassurance that I am and will continue to be solidly behind you for every propeople performance in excellence of yours in all climes and times.

Principal’s Message
In today’s environment, the biggest threat to nation's integrity is from LWE. CRPF is a pan Indian CAPF and not a state police.
With BSF, ITBP, SSB and AR maintain the sanctity of the country's borders and CISF guarding our vital installations - so who is the
Centre's repository for internal security? It is the CRPF which has been mandated to maintain the country's integrity. Hence
for us and you it is and always will be NATION FIRST. And as junior leaders you are the cutting edge of the Force, you are the
future leaders and a heavy responsibility rests on your shoulders. It is your duty now to lead the Force in a right direction. For this,
you not only have to prepare yourselves but also the men under your command to face the challenges ahead. You will constantly
have to evolve and upgrade your professional skills and capabilities. As a junior leader, you are expected to set up a high personal
example of dedication and commitment and only then the men under your command will follow you. It is not enough for you just
to do the job or complete your assigned duties. What is needed is to do your job with perfection. In doing so you must possess
a high degree of self esteem and pride. Follow DO AS I DO DRILLS. The easiest way to be a junior leader is look the men in eyes
just tell them FOLLOW ME. So from today I COMMAND THEE with the motto NATION FIRST - FOLLOW ME.

Commandant’s Message
Dear Officers of 44 Alpha batch
It’s a matter of pride and privilege for me that I have been associated with you during your difficult but learning days. Training
might have been tough and demanding for many of you but you would appreciate, this period was well invested and will bear
fruits. You will realize that person stepping out of Academy is a new Avatar and stands distinct out in crowd.
The D day, “passing out” has come and all of you will start leaving this place for your next assignment. Days ahead will be
tougher but remember tough time don’t last, tough people do. I am confident with the kind of training you have been imparted
you have been transformed into the tough combat leader, where the key word will be “Follow me” or “come let us do”. At your
level of command you will have to influence a company of brave men who would follow you without questions and doubts. It is
an onerous responsibility. Your persona and skill will boost the confidence of your men to fight in thick and thin, in any adverse
situation with high level of trust in your leadership. I am sure you will never let the confidence in you, get diluted.
I, wholeheartedly wish each one of you good luck and excellent career filled with social, personal and psychological satisfaction.
Also remember to make your men sweat in peace so that they bleed less in war.

From the editor's desk
It has been said beautifully that great leader inspires his men to follow him and his men have faith
in him. All through this rigorous training our instructors and officers have sweated on scorching
heat, stood up in chilling winters just to make us an officer in every fiber of our being.
The men we will command, will look up to us with hopes in their eyes, our leadership with care and
affection towards them will make them follow us and fight for us and their motherland unflinchingly
in the battle. Fight just fight with all our strength, an indomitable spirit and a moral courage to win
every battle that we fight. Take pride in how far we have come and how long we will go.
This moment will be cherished forever throughout our lives. As on this auspicious day of our passing
out ceremony we all will say Dasvidaniya to each other which says “until we meet again” and
for that we have this book as a memory which will never washout from our mind. And will keep
our spirits high that we are the one who will change the future.
