MICHAEL DE BRITO
Michael De Brito is a Portuguese-American artist born in 1980. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the
Parsons School of Design and has also studied at the New York Academy of Figurative Art and the Salmagundi Club. A
recipient of numerous awards, including a Pollack-Krasner Grant and the Frank C. Wright Memorial Award, his work was
included in the 2006 BP Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London and the Scottish National Portrait Gallery
in Edinburgh. Even before reaching the age of thirty, he had received four Best-In-Show awards from juried national
competitions. The members of his close knit family are often the inspiration for his work. There is great maturity to his
technique and the profound connection to his subject matter make his paintings both familiar and moving. His most
recent accomplishments included winning “Best in Show” from the Visual Art Center’s Juried Exhibition. One of the most
prestigious highlights of his young career was his selection to participate in an exhibition at Museu da Presidencia da
Republica, the presidential museum in Lisbon, Portugal.

GABRIELA GONZALEZ DELLOSSO
Gabriela Gonzalez Dellosso was born in New York City in 1968. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the
School of Visual Arts then continued her studies at the Art Students League of New York and the National Academy of
Fine Arts. Her very first one-woman exhibition took place in 2006 at the prestigious Butler Institute of American Art. In
addition, Ms. Dellosso’s work has been exhibited at the Allentown Art Museum, Arnot Art Museum, New Britain Museum
of American Art, Trenton City Museum and the Katonah Art Museum among other venues and is in several permanent
museum collections. She is the first female artist in the almost 140 year-old history of the Salmagundi Club to be selected
to create a “Presidential Commission.” Her creativity and masterful technique have garnered her over twenty-five awards in
the past decade, including first prize at the New Britain Museum of American Art and Phillip Isenburg Memorial Award from
the Salmagundi Club. Her Cuban-Ecuadorian heritage plays a major influence in her paintings and although there is a strong
suggestion of a narrative, she primarily wants the viewer to realize that things are not always what they appear to be.

DANIEL E. GREENE, N.A.
Daniel E. Greene, N.A., born in 1934, has been elected to the Pastel Society of America’s Hall of Fame. Representing the
United States, his work was included in the first International Biennial of Pastel in San Quentin, France. In the category of
oil painting he was awarded American Artist’s Magazine’s first lifetime achievement award and the Oil Painters of America
named him to their Hall of Fame. The American Society of Portrait Artists presented him the John Singer Sargent award for
life long dedication to the achievement of excellence in portraiture. He has been awarded the gold medal by the American
Portrait Society. Mr. Greene was also the annual honoree of the Salmagundi Club and was presented their gold medal. In
the winter of 2011, he was awarded The Trailblazers Award from the American Forum for Realism and Fine Art Connoisseur
Magazine. Mr. Greene’s paintings and pastels are in over 700 public and private collections in the United States and abroad.
He is undoubtedly considered one of America’s finest realist painters of any generation.

STEVE HUSTON
Steve Huston, born in 1959, is a native of Alaska who received his degree from the Art Center College of Design in
Pasadena, California. He first established himself as a successful illustrator, commissioned by such high profile clients as
Paramount Pictures, MGM, Playboy Magazine and Warner Brothers. Mr. Huston held a faculty position at the Art Center, as
well as teaching courses in life drawing, anatomy and composition for the artists and animators of Disney, Warner Brothers
and Dreamworks SKG studios. He discovered his unique voice as a fine artist when he turned his eye towards the world
of boxing, a sport he had participated in as an amateur. In that world of extreme physicality, he found a metaphor for the
strugglesandchallengesthatmostofusfacealongourownindividualjourney. His works are poetic, poignant and masterfully
powerful, and his figures are iconic archetypes of masculine and feminine line and form. Mr. Huston’s work is sought after
by private collectors, as well as his fellow artists and many prestigious members of the contemporary art world.

PAUL G. OXBOROUGH
Paul G. Oxborough was born in Minnesota in 1965. He began his studies at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design
before entering a four-year apprenticeship at the Atelier Lessuer, a rigorous program adhering to a stringent French academic
tradition. He has since amassed numerous accolades for his work and received international acclaim for his one-man
exhibitions in both New York and London. To his ongoing list of impressive credentials is his inclusion in the BP Award
Exhibition on three separate occasions in 2005, 2007 and 2009. This is a rare honor for non- UK artists, however each year
one of his extraordinary portraits (including that of great American contemporary artist, Chuck Close) has been exhibited
at the National Portrait Gallery in London, The Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens in Sunderland and the Scottish
National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh. He was also selected for the inaugural Outwin Boochever Exhibition in 2006, at the
Smithsonian Institution’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC. Other impressive achievements have been winning
“Best in Show” from the International Art Renewal Center Competition, as well as being awarded “Grand Prize” from the
American Society of Portrait Artists. Mr. Oxborough draws inspiration from his extensive international travels from the Bayous
of Louisiana to the cafés of Paris, from the docks of Lucerne to the African Kalahari. His work is a reflection of his life, an
ongoing journey of not only himself but of the world around him.

CESAR SANTOS
Cesar Santos is a Cuban-American artist born in 1982. He studied at Miami Dade College and the New World School of
the Arts before travelling to Florence, where he trained at the Angel Academy of Art under the tutelage of Michael John
Angel. He returned to Miami, where he developed his philosophy of marrying both the classical and the modern juxtaposed
within one painting. His influences range from the Renaissance to the masters of the nineteenth century to Modernism. With
superb technique, he infuses a harmony between the natural and the conceptual to create works that are provocative and
dramatic. He has been the recipient of numerous accolades including a first place award from a competition sponsored
by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Santos has had exhibitions throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America,
including the Villa Bardini Museum in Florence, Italy and the Frost Art Museum in Miami, Florida.

ZACK ZDRALE
Zack Zdrale, born in 1977, attended the University of Wisconsin, where he earned his undergraduate degree and for
four consecutive years was on the Honor Role. He then attained his Master’s Degree from the Academy of Art University
in San Francisco, where he would then become an instructor. His paintings have been exhibited throughout the United
States in both solo and group exhibitions. Mr. Zdrale has thrived in his craft creating figurative works that are at once
dynamic and elegant. His mastery of chiaroscuro and understanding of the human form has given him the means to
paint dramatic and powerful compositions with the interplay between the figure and their surroundings.
