Design your home with linen
Design your home with linen
Hi,
My name is Inga Lukauskiene, and I am a Lithuanian-born interior
designer.
I have a real passion for textiles, particularly linen. I love absolutely
everything about it: its strength, coarseness, and durability; the way it
ages beautifully, and - I have to admit - even its tendency to crease.
Lithuania has strong traditions of flax growing and linen production, and
I have always felt that more could be done to represent the beauty of
Lithuanian linen and fine craftsmanship.
With this idea in mind, I graduated from London’s KLC School of Design,
and decided to focus on creating beautiful home accessories from linen.
I am introducing my luxurious yet affordable linen brand, LinenMe, and I
hope you enjoy exploring my collections of home textiles.
Sincerely yours,
Inga

A short history of LinenMe
Linen production is a cherished family tradition with some members of
Inga’s family having worked in the industry for over 30 years. The family
takes great pride in keeping old linen production traditions alive.
Inga Lukauskiene has been involved in the
linen production process from the very
beginning. It always struck her that no matter
how high the quality of Lithuanian linen was,
it would still bear the name of some foreign
brand. A tiny mention in the tag “Made in
Lithuania” was no longer enough.
LinenMe, an independent Lithuanian linen
brand, was launched in 2007, offering an
array of luxurious handmade Lithuanian linen.
In November 2007, the online shop
LinenMe.com was officially opened, and
LinenMe products became widely available to
the global market.
The LinenMe brand has been going from
strength to strength, delivering luxurious
Lithuanian linens to buyers in nearly 50
countries. Purchasing unique Lithuanian linen
has never been easier.
LinenMe - luxury you can afford
LinenMe is a small yet rapidly growing business that trades exclusively
online, making it an easy, accessible and cost-effective way of shopping.
Our main focus is ensuring that each and every luxurious item available
from our shop, or made bespoke for you, is also affordable.
This is how we do it, in 3 simple steps:
Design
All our product designs are inspired by our
customers, and then carefully selected by our
in-house designer, Inga Lukauskiene, a recent
graduate of KLC School of Design in London. Her
family has worked in the flax industry for over
30 years, and currently owns a linen
manufacturing unit.
Manufacturing
We have our own manufacturing unit in Lithuania,
with more than 30 years of linen production
experience and flexibility at lower cost. The linen
production facility uses each and every inch of
fabric, with hardly anything going to waste.
Marketing
We try to avoid all the marketing gimmicks that
are ineffective and increase the final value of the
product. Staying away from all the unnecessary
and costly marketing actions, we stick to the
basics, and are proud to be in the position to offer
luxurious and affordable linen every day.
Bed linen
Discover the exquisite beauty of fine Lithuanian linen, full of sensual texture
and style. The LinenMe range of luxurious linen bedding will please both
traditional and contemporary tastes.
Over centuries, in many cultures worldwide, one of the most important
heirlooms a loving mother could give to her daughter on her wedding day was
linen passed on to her from previous generations. Quality linen was the tie that
bound generations, thanks to its time-enhanced beauty and durability.
Pure linen is one of the most suitable fabrics to use for luxurious bedding
production as linen fiber is hollow at the core, and thus provides excellent
insulation. It works wonders in both hot and cold seasons, keeping you cool in
summer and warm in winter. In hot weather, pure linen absorbs moisture and
excessive body heat, improving the quality of sleep and rest.
Linen has excellent anti-static, anti-allergic and natural PH-balanced qualities
that any other fabric struggles to match. The temperature-regulating
properties of linen create the soothing feeling of comfort, making linen sheets
pleasant to the touch, and giving a great sense of relaxation.

Table linen
LinenMe creates luxury table linen for both formal and casual dining, offering
a wide range of designs. From classic plain white tablecloths, to funky stripe
table runners and vibrant colourful napkins, we have lots of different sizes and
colours available.
Luxurious linen tablecloths can be passed down to future generations as a
family heirloom, perhaps as a gift given to daughters on their wedding day,
or they can be used on special family occasions for decades to come.
Moreover, by choosing pure linen tablecloths, napkins and placemats, you are
making a long term investment, as they do not tend to wear and tear easily.
The more times you wash your table linen, the softer it feels.
LinenMe table linen blends a contemporary look with timeless luxury and
simple elegance.

Bathroom linen
We are extremely proud of the LinenMe range of huckaback towels and
bathroom accessories for a number of reasons.
A huckback weaving pattern, also known as huggabag, huck-a-back, huckabag
or simply huck, is an old weave that is still used for towels even today.
The name ‘huckaback’ may have been adapted from ‘hucksters’, known from
around 1200.
The huckaback pattern produces a specific uneven surface, which allows towels
to absorb water better and dry quicker.
Linen bath towels have a good grip, are sturdy and extremely absorbent.
They dry the skin very effectively; towel-drying your skin with a pure linen
towel also stimulates the blood supply leaving you revitalised and fresh.
Pure linen towels won’t take up as much space in your wardrobe as
conventional cotton towels. They are also perfect for the spa or the beach,
and are durable, lightweight and environmentally friendly.
LinenMe has a selection of luxurious bath towels on offer in several colours
and sizes.

Wool Throws
Linen is not the only fiber that LinenMe cares about. We are in the process
of sourcing new products from other small independent manufacturers that
specialise in natural materials such as wool, silk, cotton, and even ceramics
or glass.
Wool products were among the first new exciting items that were added
to LinenMe range in 2009. LinenMe offers several types of wool throws and
blankets; from classic plain throws, to patterned and striped designs, there is
a product to suit any taste.
Most of the throws are suitable for using both indoors and outdoors, such as
when you are having a late night barbeque in your garden, or simply enjoying
a glass of wine on the balcony.
Some of the throws are made of pure merino wool, and others use various
blends of wool – such as alpaca, lambs wool, camel and merino – so there’s
plenty of luxury and warmth woven into each throw.
The best thing about wool throws is that they can serve you a lifetime;
they remain light and soft for years, and can also be used purely for interior
decoration.
Our
Customers
Say
I simply love these throws. I purchased two of them and they are very warm!
They are also soft and the wool is absolutely luxurious. You have to feel and
see them to appreciate the quality!

Fabrics
LinenMe fabrics are ideal for light and heavy upholstery, table linen, cushions,
bed spreads, curtains and lamp shades, as well as clothing. From distinctive
stripes to patterns, from various natural shades to radiant colours, there is
something to suit any style.
The four main types of linen fabric available from LinenMe include heavy
upholstery, sheer, damask and soft furnishing fabrics. They vary in weight,
colour and weave, and clients are more than welcome to order quality samples
before committing to large purchases.
Fabrics from LinenMe collections can be successfully used for residential
and high-end commercial interiors. Curtains, table linen and bed linens from
LinenMe have been a favoured choice of many world-famous brands, hotels
and restaurants.
We are in the process of introducing a range of cotton and wool upholstery
fabrics, as well as light weight cotton and linen blends to the current LinenMe
range.

Why Buy LinenMe
Linen is one of the oldest textiles, and hardly anyone questions the
advantages of owning a home accessory or a piece of clothing made from
pure linen. However, with so much choice available nowadays, it’s only fair
to ask: what are the benefits of purchasing linen from LinenMe?
Fine Designs
Flexibility
LinenMe is a private label of luxurious linen
products manufactured in Lithuania, a country
with long-lasting traditions of flax growing and
production. We specialise in creating unique and
boutique styles using the highest quality linen.
Each linen collection is designed by our in-house
designer, Inga Lukauskiene, a recent graduate of
London’s KLC School of Design.
Linen is not the only fiber we intend to work with.
LinenMe already offers a range of products made
of wool, silk and cotton, and we’d like to think this
is only the beginning! We are continuously looking
for other small manufacturers of high-quality
home décor items that we would be excited to
add to our own assortment.
Growing
Continuously
Inspired by the suggestions and ideas from
LinenMe customers, Inga creates stunning home
accessories by selecting the colours, textures
and shapes for forthcoming collections. She
continually adds new items to the ever-growing
range of LinenMe products.
Manufacturing
The manufacturing unit where all LinenMe
products are hand-made is owned by the family,
which takes great pride in keeping old linen
production traditions alive. The manufacturing
facility is located in Lithuania, providing the best
possible service at a fraction of the cost.
All linen items from LinenMe are produced at this
manufacturing facility.
High Quality
Exceptional Value
We make sure we do not compromise on quality.
We use carefully-selected sources of flax, have
strict quality control on all LinenMe products, and
are doing our best to ensure smooth and prompt
delivery of purchased goods.
Luxury linen doesn’t have to be exclusive to
a select few. We make our textile products
affordable and available to a much wider range of
customers than is traditionally offered by normal
retailers.
Making Linen
Affordable
Personalised Service
Having our own designer and a dedicated
manufacturing unit in Lithuania has the advantage
of making our luxury linen stay affordable,
which makes it available to a much wider range
of clients. If you love natural linen, there are
affordable options to suit any wallet and taste.
LinenMe offers a personal and professional
customer service, with every enquiry being looked
at and replied to. If you are not sure what size
linen tablecloth you need, or you are wondering
if there are other colour shades for any particular
item, drop us a line, and you will get a detailed
response.

not go out of fashion immediately.

member of the European Union. We guarantee
that no child labour or worker exploitation takes
place at our manufacturing unit, and we adhere to
EU standards and regulations.
