We’re proud to present you with the 2014 Royal
collection – year on year we learn more about our
customer’s demands and requirements and feed this
input back into our product development programme.
We take this feedback and working closely with our
R+D team of top riders develop product that will out
perform even the most demanding rider’s expectations.
We need to be fully aware of all the latest trends as they
evolve. If we stay up to speed, it means you stay up to
speed, it’s a simple as that. This is why we invest heavily
in rider support across all disciplines.
Enduro legends Mark Weir and Neil Donoghue, free rider
Garett Buehler, Trek World Racing and Steve Peat in
DH, Chris Akrigg for trails and trials riding. Having these
guys on our side make the difference.
We’ve got some great new products for 2014. Enduro
is much hyped and the current buzz word in our
industry, many brands will simply slap the name Enduro
on a product to increase their sales. At Royal we do
things rather differently, we’ve been supporting enduro
athletes for years and for 2104 we have a range of
products specifically designed to meet enduro riders’
requirements.
We pride ourselves on our heritage and history of
designing exclusively for and serving the MTB market. It
is a much over used adage in our industry but the Royal
programme truly is:

Brief
Design a range of lightweight, breathable
jackets and gilets specifically for the off road
rider. They must have great breathability and
waterproofing but need to look good on and
off the bike.
Rain, Sleet and snow are not our friends but
they won’t prevent us from riding!
For 2014 we’ve extended our range to
protect riders from the elements that try
but fail to keep us indoors. Look out for the

We’ve called this series ‘Enduro Trail ’
however this could have been ‘All Mountain’,
or a myriad of other terms that describe what
we do at our favourite riding hotspots.
We set out to create a line that caters
to a wide range of riding skills from the
professional Enduro racers who inspired this
series, through the serious recreational trail
rider, to the local guy riding casually with his
friends.
The key elements: products must be trail
specific and no compromise on the use of
materials employed. Lighter, faster, stronger
were terms that kept cropping up in our
design meetings!

Royal has been making World Cup winning race
apparel since 2000. Each year we tweak our
products to gain that extra little performance benefits
for our athletes.
TWR the most professionally run team on the DH
World Cup circuit have one desire– the desire to
win. The single-mindedness that drives them makes
them extremely demanding when it comes to the
apparel they wear. After extensive debriefing with our

technical apparel, so we took some of our
best selling lines from our adult range and reworked them into small sizes suitable for kids.
However whilst many brands dumb down
