event on April 29.
Seven chefs. Seven courses. Seven wines.
That's the plan for the final Seasoned Chefs Dinner Series on April 29 at The Reserve at Big Rock Chophouse in Birmingham.
Participating chefs are:
Chris Johnson, The Meeting House, Rochester;
Alan Merhar, Evans Street Station, Tecumseh;
Jay Gundy, Cork Restaurant, Pleasant Ridge;
Benjamin Meyer, Iridescence at MotorCity Casino Hotel, Detroit;
Jeff Rose, C.A.Y.A. Smokehouse Grill, Wolverine Lake;
Matthew Fitchett, The Reserve and Big Rock Chophouse, Birmingham; and
Eric Voigt, The Reserve and Big Rock Chophouse, Birmingham.
Each chef will prepare an appetizer and course paired with a fine wine.
“We want to create an awesome dining experience at this dinner with really exquisite food that you won’t see anywhere else in the
Detroit area,” said Voigt, executive pastry chef at Big Rock Chophouse and The Reserve.
Throughout the dinner series, each chef has hosted a dinner at his own restaurant.
Cost is $190 per person and includes tax, tip and valet parking.
The Reserve is located at 325 S. Eton St.
Dinner is served at 7 p.m.; a cocktail reception starts at 6 p.m. Reservations are required.
