in Manitoba at a legal & sanctioned race facility;
namely Gimli Dragway, and converse with car owners about racing.

Legends Car Club "Drive for Cancer" takes
place Sat., May 14, 2011. We cruise to several
different towns in a poker derby format and each
stop is a mini car show & shine. All participants
canvas pledges for a tax deductible donation.
Poker run proceeds are split between this worthy
cause and the best 3 poker hands. Everyone is
welcome and entry fee is only $10 which includes
a windup meal in Altona. Buy as many hands as

Drags - 2011. The auto club invites everyone
to take in our 11th annual 1/8 mile drag race on
Saturday. July 30th at Neepawa Municipal Airport(2 miles west. % mile north of Hwy. 16 and

Vette Summer Nites 2011 Sept. long weekend
the Corvette Club of Manitoba is hosting a Canadian Council of Corvette Clubs(Quad C) Convention Weekend, "Vette Summer Nites 2011". The
event is open ot all Corvette owners. The weekend will include a Corvette car show, a Corvette
rally, an optional sightseeing tour, a participant
BBQ, a Corvette auto cross and an awards banquet. All Corvette owners are welcome. Pre-registration is required to ensure you can participate.
The final opportunity to register will be August
12, 2011. A limited quantity of event souvenir
clothing will be available. Registration fees and
details are available at www.corvettemanitoba.
com/events/ All events are governed by rules
and standards as prescribed by the Canadian
Council of Corvette Clubs(Quad C). This includes
judging of cars, Corvette rally rules and the auto
cross. Car show judging sheets, rally sheets and
auto cross results will be returned to participants
at the end of competition. The car show and auto
cross event divides Corvettes into classes based
on the year and options your car is equipped
with. The rally requires only that you have a driver
and navigator and drive a Corvette. Trophies will
be presented to class and place winners at the
awards banquet. The Corvette Club of Manitoba
looks forward to hosting this event for Corvette
enthusiasts. Bring your Corvette out, meet other
Corvette enthusiasts and find out how your car
stacks up against other Corvettes.
