Installation overview, Mover® Installation dimensions
Installation of a Mover® is possible for tyre sizes of between
165/70 R13 and 225/70 R15.
In order for the lateral bar of the Mover® to be affixed using
the mounting set, sufficient space must be available on the
underside of the frame. To determine whether this is the
case, a distance 1 (mm) needs to be measured (either
in front of or behind the axle) from the tyre. If there is an
attachment (that cannot be moved, e.g. a waste water tank)
or a joint in the chassis in this location, the short mounting
set cannot be used as an alternative mounting. The Mover®
XT L can only be fitted behind the axle using the XT L
mounting set.
The distance from the bottom edge of the frame to the
ground must be at least 170 mm, to ensure a final floor
clearance of 110 mm once installation is complete.
XT, XT2, XT4
The following distances must be adhered to when the
Mover® is swivelled out:
110 mm minimum floor clearance of laden vehicle
20 mm between the drive roller and the vehicle tyre
When the optimal distance between the tyres and the drive
rollers is set, the tyres must be under load.
Installation over a pit is therefore simpler than with an auto
hoist. After installation, if an auto hoist is used, the caravan
must first be lowered before the distance between the drive
rollers and the tyres can be set.
Please pay attention to the additional notes in the relevant
installation instructions!

Installation overview, Mover® Mounting set
The mounting set (picture 1 – included in scope of delivery
of the Mover® XT, XT2, XT4) suitable for all standard L-profile
and U-profile frames, likewise the predecessor model
(picture 3).
In the event of deviating frame conditions or substructures
and interfering edges, installation can be achieved using
special accessories – see Chassis variants and accessories
overview.
Extra reinforcement is required for AL-KO chassis with
a frame thickness of less than 2.8 m – see mounting
of variant 5a. No other accessories are required for the
Mover® XT L, and the height of the mounting set differs
(picture 2).
Attention:
You must not drill into* or weld onto the vehicle frame.
* Exception: when using the flat frame kit with chassis from
various manufacturers – see Accessories overview.
Wheel suspension parts must not be removed under any
circumstances.
