ANDY’S SLAP SHOT
The past two weeks we received very generous donations into the program.
The Greenwich Autism Alliance (Bob & Kelly Milazzo) made their annual donation of $5,000. Thank you Bob &
Kelly, you do wonderful work for the Autism community and the Dare Devils
In memory of our Junior Coach Cody who passed away over a year ago, Lisa, his mom, presented the Dare Devils
with a $3,500 donation. Lisa and Cody’s friends sold t shirts to raise the funds.
In memory of Coach Troy Oswald‘s dad Edward who recently passed away, the Dare Devils received $1,375 from
family and friends in his memory.
On Saturday I met Ryan Scorsune’s grandparents. They presented me with a very generous donation and
thanked me and the Dare Devils family for running a very valuable program. Grandma and Grandpa said Ryan is
benefiting greatly from the program. Thanks for the kind words Gail and Bob!
On Saturday we did a great job in the closet. We managed to straighten everything out, take a quick inventory
of the equipment, and throw a few things out. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to do a deep dive as the
rink was hosting playoff games and the area outside the closet had to be assessable to players and coaches.
Thanks to Frank, Coach Joon, Junior Coach Dylan, and Jim D for helping out.
We traveled to Westchester to play our tri state area rivals the Raptors on Sunday. The Dare Devils won both
games in easy fashion with a thunderous hat trick by Vincent ‘The Rock” Racamato and single goals by Griffin,
Ostlund, Asch, Glaab and the Niemann brothers. Great defensive support was provided by Thomas and Shaw as
the Raptor players slashed us several times! It was great to see our players hustling up and down the ice especially, Sam and Madison who brought the girl power to the contest and Da Boys, Torriero, Barnes, Schwarz,
DePiero and Kientz who played like animals through out the contest. Great job to all who participate!

Diane Ciemiecki is distributing raffle tickets. Please see her if you didn’t receive tickets or you want to sell additional booklets. Please remember that the bulk of our revenue comes from the outing and we make our best
profits from selling ads in our program and signage that is displayed at the course the day of the event.
