Spotlight - JTGJS Review
Technical Approach...
JTGJS, July Edition was clearly
a super-duper success as it
witnessed good number of
footfalls right from the first
day of the show. With a good
mix of exhibitors from different
sectors of India, this
edition definitely
proved to be
one of the
best gems
and jewellery
show. Some of
the stalls were
ornamented
so well that one
was unable to
walk away
from them
without
visiting
them once.
The ample
space provided
within the stalls
encouraged retailers
to browse through
jewellery conveniently
and offer their business
propositions with the
exhibitors.
In fact, there were many
stalls in the show that used
the latest technology to the
fullest. There were tabs, LEDs
used at multiple stalls within
the show to keep in pace with
the new generation. K’olears by
Tare Gold Creations made use
of Leap Motion Technology to
attract visitors and showcase
their jewellery collection in a
digitally interactive way. Sparsh
Diamonds introduced the concept
of ‘augmented reality’, where
person was able to wear the
design on his/her neck
with the help of tab
placed at their stall.
Palak Jewellers also
had pyramid set at the entrance
of their stall that highlighted their
profile and products they excel
in. Jewel House that specializes
in diamond bangles participated
with us for the first time. The
owner said, “The new generation

of the industry is looking up to
new changes and with such grand
exhibitions things are definitely
getting better.” Their stall had a
very modern touch with a LED
screen that showcased their
collections.

The 3rd edition also witnessed a
lot of visitors from international
market like Dubai, US, Turkey,
Vietnam, Israel, etc. Mr. Mordy of
Rapaport visited the show from
New York. He told us that our
show is much better than IIJS.
He said, “Unlike IIJS, this show is
clutter free and gives individual
space to review the products on
display at ease. The business
scope is better than IIJS over
here.”
Mr. Sevilay Tekin of Güveni
Jewellery Moulder from Turkey
impressed with the show, said, “I
am very impressed with the show,
it has opened up new avenues for
us.” Gurukrupa Exports of Surat
that deals with diamond studded
gold jewellery set in 18 karat and
22 karat respectively visited the
3rd edition of JTGJS. Mr. Bhavesh
Sabalpara, Production Manager of
the company was very impressed
with the show. He said, “The
entire set up is nice and if given
a chance we would like to book a
stall next time.”
Swarna Palace Jewellers,

ornaments in gold and silver from
Dhule showed immense interest
in participating with us next time.
Mr. Sardarmal Chaudhari of the
company said, “I am impressed
with the entire set-up and the
show looks very promising in
terms of business.” Ms. Jane
Tames from Vietnam was very
happy with the ambience. Having
been visited IIJS, she said,
“Unlike IIJS, things are lot more
peaceful here. There we have
to go through multiple security
check-ups which get annoying.
The hassle-free entry makes
things pleasant.”
Amritsar’s Sardar Gems
&Jewellers and Avtar Singh
Tanveer Singh Dealer were also
glad to visit the show. They felt
that show had a lot new to offer
product wise. N. Sivakumar
from Thangamayil Jewellery of
Madurai also appreciated the
show. He said, “JTGJS is far better
than IIJS; as it is less crowded
you get the space to check out
products peacefully. However,
we felt that the show had lots of
manufacturers and wholesalers
from Mumbai. Next time we
would like to see wholesalers,
manufacturers and exporters
from different states of India.”
Raghunathan V.V from Gitanjali
also visited the show.
The exhibitors attained great
success as they were able to
create new networks as well as
forge strong bid with potential
buyers across the nation and
abroad. JTGJS has effectively
succeeded in generating 80100 per cent business for the
participants. Presence of close
to 24,000 plus visitors clearly
indicated the reach of the show.
