gone and the kids are back
in school.
Life is starting to settle
down again and everyone is
slipping back into routines.
It seems like a good time
to make some changes in
your life or as some like
to call them 'New Year’s
Resolutions'. I for one am
opposed to the term New
Year’s Resolution as I feel
it is only a matter of time before I crack under the pressure and break it.
I prefer to call them 'New Week Resolutions' as that's as long as they last
with me. For some reason I just can't seem to make it past a week...
However, we have a great way to way to get you on the right track this
January. This week in the meat department we have the 5 for $25 deal
back. It's a great way to get into the kitchen and make some healthy
choices. Pick up five different meat options this week and plan a week's
worth of meals at one time.
Choose from beef, pork, chicken or even our in-store made Ivan's sausage.
Such a convenient size, you can pop them in the freezer to use at a later
date. Not only will it save you money but it will also keep you one step
ahead of your hectic schedule.
Come on let's face it, nobody likes to come home after a long day of
work and picking up the kids from school and then try to come up with
something wholesome for a family dinner. One of our family favourites
is the chicken drumsticks and a package of shake and bake. It's a quick
and simple meal that we can make together. My five year old daughter's
favourite job is to shake the chicken up while my three year old son is
helping set the table (hopefully not dropping the dishes.)
