There are few things sadder than seeing
a bell that has been mishandled and
mistreated by an unauthorized refurbisher.
Only the Schulmerich® factory or one of our Authorized
Refurbishment Centers can properly take care of your investment, and
only through Schulmerich can you refurbish your bell without running the
risk of voiding your warranty. When it comes to the precision of the
Schulmerich® sound, leave it to the professionals. Many of the steps your bells go through during production involve
processes where the difference between a satisfactory bell and a
defective bell can be as little as a thousandth of an inch. Only the
people who made your handbells know how to make adjustments this
nuanced and only we have the resources to replace your castings if
adjustments can’t be made. We understand how to service your bells,
we have the equipment to do the work correctly, and, most importantly,
we have a full, professionally-trained staff of craftsman who can restore
your bells to their original form.

We’ve Made it Easy for You
• Our expanded nationwide refurbishment network will arrange for
proper shipment of your instrument to us. Our existing centers in
South Carolina, Virginia, and Minnesota will be joined in 2014 by
centers in Texas and California.
• A dedicated Refurbishment Schedule Coordinator will keep you
informed throughout the refurbishment process.
• We’ve launched an Emergency Bell Replacement Program so that
customers can now access an urgent priority package service through
our shipping carrier to arrange for the expedited delivery of certain
Schulmerich® handbells including, in some cases, same day or next
day delivery.
• We’re providing local access to factory-backed technicians at
Handbell Musicians of America area events.
