resources, we have served those in need in meaningful ways. Together, we prepare our children to
succeed in school and in life, ensure individuals and families are financially stable, and provide
everyone with the opportunity to lead a healthy life. Together, we create the greatest community

I have had the privilege of being a part
of the transformation and evolution of

Tiffany’s Story
For Tiffany Cumbie, three words resonate - “I’m Still Here.”
Powerful words of self-motivation spoken from a single mom who
has overcome personal battles on her way to success. She has been
through a lot in her 30 years of life, but she holds onto the fact that

COMMUNITY IMPACT
Jerry and VF
Jerry Guiliano, a VF associate and loyal United Way donor, attests
that he lives today because of the help of United Way and the
American Red Cross. In 1989, on his way from school, he flipped
his car three times, was thrown 85 feet, and recovered in the
hospital for 45 days.

The first night of Jerry’s hospital stay, he received
11 blood transfusions, provided by the American
Red Cross to keep him alive.
“If not for the help of the American Red Cross
and United Way, I would not have received the

I truly would have never met my wife, had my
children, or been lucky enough to work for such
a great company that helps with the community
