Race Waiver
I know that running a road race is a potentially
hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless
I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to
abide by any decision of a race official relative to my
ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks
associated with running in this race, including, but
not limited to: falls, contact with other participants,
the effects of the weather, high heat and humidity,
ice, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such
risks being known and appreciated by me. Having
read this waiver and knowing these facts and in
consideration of you accepting my entry, I for myself
and anyone for who entitled to act, waive, release,
and will hold harmless Dick Broadcasting, City of
Greensboro, Foothills Brewery, the race organizer,
all other sponsors and all the agents, employees,
officers, directors, and volunteers working for those
entries from all claims and liabilities of any kind
arising out of or related to my participation in this
race.

RACE THE BAR Beer Run Race Series:
Taking “Beer Run” to literal extremes since 2012
Who: You, your friends, and co-workers; along with sponsors,
Rock 92, 1075 KZL, and Senn Dunn Insurance
What: A super-awesome beer run race series. After you run,
you get two free beers and enjoy some live music (21&up).
• All races feature a 5K, after which we’ll add a second race
of increasing distance. (Race #1 5K only, Race #2 5K& 8K,
Race#3 5K&10K, Race #4 5K& 15K). Increase your distance
as you improve.
• All races feature an optional six week training component to
help you meet your goals (see below).
• If you place in the top three in your age group, you’ll win a
customized Pint glass and collect points towards the overall
race series championship.
• There is also a corporate challenge open to teams of
employees from corporations, businesses and financial
institutions. For more information and rules about forming a

• 3/23- 5K at The Last Resort on Deacon Blvd. in Winston
Salem, featuring beer from Carolina Brewery.
• 5/18- 5K&8K at Lindley Park Filing Station & Sticks and
Stones at the corner of Walker and Elam in Greensboro
featuring beer from Carolina Brewery.
• 9/21- 5K&10K at Natty Greene’s in downtown Greensboro
featuring beer from Natty Greene’s.
• 11/9- 5K&15K at Foothills Brewery in Winston Salem,
featuring beer from Foothills Brewery. Those who have
completed and placed in the other races have a shot at the
overall championship.
TRAINING PLAN INFO:
E3, Elite Human Performance Sports Coaching is the official
training partner of The Race The Bar Beer Run Race Series.
Each race will be preceded by six training clinics and a six week
training plan for each participant in the training program. For

Race #1 of the
Race The Bar Run Race Series
The first of four races in the Race The Bar Beer Run Race
Series will be held at The Last Resort on Deacon Blvd. in
Winston Salem at 3pm. The race will begin and end at this
location. All race participants over the age of 21 will enjoy two
free beers compliments of Carolina Brewery. Enjoy the live
music and party afterwards.

Notes:
• On-line Registration for this event closes on March 20,
2013 at 3:00 PM. On-site registration MAY be available
during normal packet pick up hours if space is available.
• If you wish to sign up for multiple races of The Race The Bar
Beer Run Race Series and receive a discount you will need to
register online at www.racethebar.com
• The minimum age allowed for participating in
The Race The Bar 5K is 5.
• The Race The Bar 5K will be timed using ChampionChip
Timing System.
• Parking is available at Groves Stadium parking lot which is
adjacent to the race start and finish.
