Data recording
We can pre-load your presentations, product
catalogues and other data onto your USB stick,
SD card or CD/DVD - just the way you want it.
Pre-recording your data is a great idea and is
especially worthwhile when you want to share
important information with your customers
or for publicising your company news. We can
load any type of data onto your medium. The
following provides a list of data types that we
have pre-recorded for our customers in the
past:

Data transfer
You can send your data directly to our sales
staff as a ZIP file (e.g.*.zip) for files up to 10 MB
in size. We ask that you provide a download
link for files larger than 10 MB. The link should
include a single file with all of the data. You
can also set up an FTP login for us that we can
use to download the data. Or we can provide
you with FTP access that allows you to upload
the data. Just ask our trained sales staff for
help.
Of course, you can also send us your data per
snail mail on a CD, DVD or USB stick.
Copy control
We only use copying systems that are also
used for inspecting the storage medium
during the production of the flash memory.
We inspect all data that is copied onto each
stick and compare it with the master. This
process guarantees that all of the data on your
stick matches your master copy. It gives you
the security of knowing that your data will
reach your customers just the way you want
it to.
AutoRun
AutoRun Customer-specific USB sticks offer
support for a function known as AutoRun,
which is not available with standard USB sticks.
This unique feature allows you to automatically start the data, e.g. a presentation, as
soon as the user connects the USB stick to a
computer (Windows only).
USB sticks with password protection
USB sticks can be protected by a password.
This activates a software program as soon as
the USB stick is connected to a PC. A password
must first be entered before the data can be
accessed.
Dual zone
If you don’t want the end customer to be
able to delete your data, you will need a dual
zone USB stick. This type of USB stick has a
secured partition and a read/write partition.
It combines the flexibility of a USB stick with
the read-only properties of a CD-ROM. Two
symbols will appear when the USB stick is
inserted into a USB port: the read-only area
and the standard USB stick partition (that the
user can use freely). This allows you to store
data that cannot be deleted in one partition
while allowing the rest of the USB stick to be
used like normal USB stick.
We are happy to set up the AutoRun function
upon request.
Volume label
The volume label name is the name that is
given to a data medium the first time it is
formatted. We can give it any name you like.
Your data medium will then appear with the
desired name (max. 11 characters, no special
characters). A special highlight: We can use
your company logo as the icon for the data
medium.
