INTRODUCTION
GENERAL CONDUCT OF
2016 UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION

The 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
was conducted EXCLUSIVELY on a Computer-Based Testing
(CBT) mode from Saturday, 27th February to Wednesday, 23rd
March, 2016.

The examination was conducted throughout the Federation
and eight Foreign Centres viz:

REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF THE
2015/2016 ADMISSIONS TO TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS
 Guidelines and decisions of the 2015 Combined Policy Meeting
were implemented at the Technical Committee Meetings,
under the Chairmanship of the Registrar/Chief Executive of
the Board through thirty (30) Admissions Panels. Each Panel
was chaired by a Management staff of the Board.
 Institutions present at the meetings also made submissions
for consideration and approval by the Admissions Panels.
 Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria is commended
thorough and prompt admissions exercise.
