so they are easy to follow and there is no need for GPS.
For the francovélosuisse, follow the signs marked "francovélosuisse"
and for the loops follow the corresponding number (641-647).
BORDER CROSSINGS
As a member of the Schengen Area, Switzerland no longer carries
out routine identity checks at the border. However, customs limits
still apply and it is recommended to carry a valid identity card with
you. Basically, you are allowed to import goods for personal use up
to a value of CHF 300 (approximately EUR 250).
SAFE CYCLING
Like the cars, cyclists should respect the road traffic regulations
for their own safety and the safety of others. Please make sure
your bike is properly equipped and in a roadworthy condition.
Please inform you about the basic rules for safe travel on the
roads, by day and at night and in both, built up and open areas.
You are strongly advised to wear a helmet and do not forget to
wear a reflective vest in the darkness. Make sure that the lights
on your bicycle are working before setting off.

You easily fall in love with Porrentruy’s old town with its many
gothic, baroque and neo-classical style residences. You should
not miss the castle dating from the 13th Century and the
restored 18th Century Hôtel-Dieu with its 19th Century
pharmacy and the museum with the same name.
A visit to JURASSICA is also a must. The Museum here holds
important historic and scientific collections with almost
130 000 exhibits, and the botanical gardens show 800
indigenous plant species, 80 varieties of rose and 180 varieties of iris.

You can find a treasure on every street corner of the former
ecclesiastical estate of Delle. The town was fortified in the 13th
century and since then, its castle remparts, towers and turrets
have been its greatest asset. Delle's narrow stone streets are
perfect for maundering. The 18th Century corn exchange, the
remain of the ramparts and the organ with horizontal pipes in
the church of Saint-Léger add even more unique charm to the
Territoire de Belfort's second largest town.

ACCOMMODATION
Boasting colourful facades, fortifications built by Vauban and lively
side streets, Belfort's old town has many historical monuments
including the Citadel, Bartholdi's famous lion and the underground
chambers of the "Grand Souterrain" (light and sound trail in the
centre of the Citadel). There are also lots of museums. The Musée
d’Histoire has historical, archaeological and ethnographical
collections and the Bartholdi museum space; the Musée d’Art
Moderne showcases the Donation Maurice Jardot (works by Picasso,
Léger, Monolo and many others) and the Musée des Beaux-Arts
includes sculptures by Rodin, paintings, low-reliefs and carvings .
There is also a space for special exhibitions in Bastion Tower 46.
The Citadel and museums are open every day except Tuesday
with the Grand Souterrain open from April to the end of
September. A multisite pass can be purchased for 7€
