It was built primarily for the World Men’s Handball Championship held in 2009. It therefore had to gain International Handball Federation (IHF) certification, as well as certification from the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). Stožice Arena, Ljubljana, Slovenia The multi-purpose arena at Stožice, Ljubljana (Slovenia) opened its doors in 2010. Elan Inventa twice in a row at Handball World Championships Roskilde, Denmark In 2011 Elan Inventa first supplied IHF-certified handball goals for the Women’s Handball World Championship, which was held in Brazil in December 2011. A year later, a special series of superior-quality handball goals was made for the Men’s World Championship which was held in Spain. The product is made to all highest standards, is IHF certified, and, for this special occasion, was featured in the Spain’s typical yellow-red colour scheme.
