Responsiveness
RKI is dedicated to a position of environmental responsiveness with
respect to each stage of its development projects. In alliance with the
Museo Del Hombre in the Dominican
Republic, RKI conducted an unprecedented, pre-ground breaking archaeological rescue mission to preserve
important on-site artifacts at its Rōco
Ki project located there. Our master
plans utilize appropriate land use
and conservation measures. Our innovative designs create unique living
spaces that present a low-impact on
the natural surroundings.

Innovative Design
RKI’s innovative design ideas are transformed into modern architectural styles

Richard Knorr is a master planner and developer who has
spent the past decade building Richard Knorr International,
Ltd. (RKI) into a turn-key master builder organization with
the experience and expertise necessary to deliver comprehensive real estate development services.
Prior to RKI, Richard spent ten years with the prestigious
design firm VOA, where as Vice President and Design Principal, he managed the Special Projects Division and gained
invaluable experience in real estate consulting, as well as
all aspects of development programming, including design,
technical, finance and marketing. As Design Partner at
VOA, Richard completed the design for the tallest mixeduse Class A building ever constructed in the Caribbean, the
Citibank Tower at the Acropolis Commercial Center located
in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Before the construction of the Acropolis began, Richard
decided to pursue his unique business model and formed
RKI. RKI was immediately hired to complete the landmark
Acropolis, the success of which subsequently led to a number of mixed-use commercial projects both abroad and in
the United States.
Nearly ten years later, RKI is now recognized for creative
real estate programming, entrepreneurship and design
excellence. As a master builder organization, RKI has focused its efforts toward signature mixed-used and community development.

charge of the restructuring for this development which included a 506 slip deepwater, full-service marina
Brickell Bay Club
-Brickell Bay Club, Brickle Avenue. Miami, Florida; along with the Jockey Club,
the first successful large-scale condo development outside of Miami Beach area,
developed by Charles Plumb in conjunction with the Forte family
-Sugarmill Woods Planned Community; one of the largest planned community
developments in Florida
-McCormick Place Expansion Project, Chicago, Illinois; including the re-design
of the Arie Crown Theater
