Occupational Health & Safety Workcover Training
Product training is an on-going part of our service and will
compliment your excellent record in work place accidents.
We have developed a training workshop that is designed to
assist you and your staff, recognise and fulfil obligations under
the current Occupational Health and Safety Act particularly
in use and storage of Hazardous and Dangerous Substances.
As you know this area is becoming increasingly policed and
is the legal obligation of employers to train their staff in work
safe practices. These practices are varied and require a level of
expertise that cannot be fully covered by the employer.
Our aim is to create a greater awareness in the correct use
and understanding of the chemicals you use to avoid the
risk of accidents.
Our Hazardous Substances and Dangerous Goods Training
Workshop follows the guidelines set by Work cover Authority
and will include the following issues:
What chemicals are classified as dangerous and what’s not.
A basic understanding of chemistry in the products used. i.e.
acids, alkali, solvents and pH.
Employee and Employer main obligations to comply with
Work cover in the use of Hazardous Substances.

prior to using the product.
What precautions should be taken to avoid an accident.
