Rental Details
All prices INCLUDE tax; it will NOT be added to the price.
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to place an order.
Some items are available at FCCG for viewing/purchase; many will need to be ordered
before your event. Orders take 3-4 weeks to arrive. Rush orders may be placed for
an additional fee (to cover rush delivery charges). Please allow as much time as
possible for placement of your order – the more time we have, the better, in case
your item(s) sell(s) out or is (are) on back order; additional time will be required to
choose and order replacements.
Sample items may be purchased at the regular price and must be pre-paid before
ordering. This allows you to test out items before your event. If you decide to rent
the item(s), they (it) will be retained by FCCG and the costs will be put towards your
rental. In some cases (i.e. small or inexpensive items) FCCG will order samples at no
charge to you.
All rentals must be pre-paid prior to the event. Payment may be in the form of cash,
cheque or credit/debit (through Paypal only). If you pay with a cheque, it must clear
before the rentals are picked up/delivered; please allow 10 days for your cheque to
clear.
A 10% refundable damage deposit will be required at the time of pick up/ delivery of the
lanterns; it will be refunded (less costs for damaged/missing items – costs are noted
below) when the rentals are returned. A “statement of the condition of the rentals”
form will be completed prior to pick up/delivery and all items will be inspected upon
their return.
Items may be delivered, pick up and/or set up by FCCG; see rental agreement for fees.
Rentals are for a period of up to 1 week, and must be returned by the “return date” listed
on the rental agreement.
A late fee will be charged for any rentals that are returned after the “return date”
specified in the rental agreement. If the items have been booked by another
customer, the late fees will be equal to the fees required to provide replacement
rentals to the other customer; these may be more than the fees for your rental! Late
returns for items that are not booked will be charged at a percentage of the current
rental fees for the items.
ONLY battery operated tealights or other electric candles (available for rental, please ask –
or you may purchase your own at the Dollarama or Giant Tiger) are to be used with
our candle holders/lanterns. If you decide to disregard our wishes and use “real
candles”, please make sure the candle holders show NO SIGNS of USE; these must be
“rentable” after they are returned, i.e. they must look NEW.
Damaged or missing items will be charged based on the prices set out in the rental
agreement. If you burn candles, contrary to our wishes, and the items show signs of
use (candle wax dripping, smoke dust, smoky smell, etc.) the items will be considered
damaged and you WILL be charged for the damage.
