DORT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION HOSTS 5th ANNUAL MOVIE DAY FOR
MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS
FLINT, MI—Dort Federal Credit Union held its 5th Annual Member Appreciation
Movie Day on Monday, August 11, 2009. More than 9,000 members and their guests
attended this year’s event.
Since 2005, Dort Federal has been offering a free movie day at local theatres in the
Flint area for their members. Members could receive up to four free movie tickets each,
simply by showing proof of membership via their membership card, ATM card, Debit
card, or Visa Platinum credit card, or monthly statement.
Vicki Hawkins, President and CEO said “The members of Dort Federal love
Movie Day and look forward to it every year. With the current economic climate, it’s a
great way for us to show our appreciation for their membership and provide our members
with an opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy time out with their friends and family.”
Dort Federal membership is open to anyone who lives, works, attends school,
worships, or volunteers in Genesee, Lapeer, or Shiawassee County, or Deerfield and
Tyrone Townships in Livingston County.

This allows each individual participant admission to one movie. This event is intended for each member and their guests to see one movie only. Member and each guest
MUST be present in order to receive a movie ticket. Tickets will not be issued for use at a later date. Please arrive 15 or more minutes prior to the start of your movie time,
as there may be longer lines than usual at your selected theater. Please be aware that theatres are the busiest between 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
