When I first started Works Connection in 1989, I was 22 years old and thought I knew it all. It didn’t take
very long to realize that I had a lot to learn! Fast forward to 2009 and we’re celebrating our 20th year in
business and I’m still learning new things everyday. Call it evolution.
The internet is a perfect example of how far we’ve evolved. If someone would have told me back in
1989 that I would be able to find up to the minute race results, weather updates or browse websites for
the latest new products, I would have thought they were crazy. Now, not only can you find race results,
you can listen to your favorite motorcycle racing event live while surfing the web all at the same time.
Internet=Powerful!
As I write this, we are in the middle of a complete revamp of our website and hope to launch the new site
this spring. I am learning more about web programming daily while trying to keep what hair I have left by
not getting all stressed out in the process. Oops too late!
The new website will feature our latest products; have tons of pictures showcasing our products and
riders, along with a ton of other key features. Dealers will be able to place orders online 24/7, track
their order, and check the availability of our products with a couple of clicks of the mouse.
Although the website revamp is a long process, the final results should be awesome!
In this unsettling economic climate, I would like to thank each and every one of our customers for their
continued support of our USA made products. We always have, and always will, strive to produce high
quality, innovative products and provide solid customer service.
And none of it would be possible with you....our valued customers!
