Controlling stringent ammonia levels is an increasing
concern in municipal and industrial wastewater
treatment plants. To enhance treatment in aerobic
systems with tight limitations we have developed
VitaStim Nitrifier. This product contains high amounts
of active nitrifying bacteria including Nitrosomonas,
Nitrobacter, Nitrospora and heterotrophic nitrifiers at
the highest concentration in the industry.
VitaStim Nitrifier also contains a micronutrient helpful
to the growth and reproduction of Nitrifying bacteria.
VitaStim Nitrifier functions well in aerobic wastewater
treatment plants and lagoons where conditions of
D.O., pH, and alkalinity are met. This product is used
in municipal applications, at refineries and rendering
facilities with exceptional results.

scanning electron microscope. The membranes
of the nitrifiers are very noticeable. This is the
site where ammonia oxidation occurs thru the use
of specific enzymes. Toxicity often damages this
membrane which disrupts ammonia removal.
