Jahorina
Due to its geographic location, great ski terrains, multitude of snow and excellent climate, Jahorina
is a real temptation for many visitors.
Pinewood, myriad of springs, great climate all year round and mild winters with sufficient snow cover
feature this celestial resort especially during late autumn and summer, which continues to delight
numerous visitors.
The average number of days of snowfall is 175 from October to the end of May.
The highest peak is Ogorjelica, 1916 m above sea level.
The 10-year average snow depth in February is 106 cm.
The network of four modern cable cars and four ski lifts with total capacity of 7.500 skiers per day,
as well as ski schools, ski service and ski equipment rental centres, serves over 20 km of ski trails.
Only minutes from the ski trails are sunny grill huts offering food and beverages.
Alpine skiing, cross country skiing, sledding, night skiing, hiking, parties with great entertainment
programmes feature this beautiful mountain. A great part of the mountain was proclaimed a National
Park.

Bjelasnica and I
With over 200 days of snowfall a year, average snow depth of 135 cm, great skiing terrain of
8345 m for slalom and giant slalom, it is easy to see why Bjelasnica and Igman are amongst
the favourite winter resorts.
Many distinguishing features made Igman and Bjelaπnica so appealing to all nature, hunting and
hiking lovers.
The Igman and Bjelasnica area is covered with thick forests and is a home to lush vegetation.
Top elevation of ski trails is 2067 m, whereas the base elevation is 1266m - Babin Do.
Visitors can also use scheduled bus traffic on the Sarajevo - Igman - Bjelasnica Route.

Vlasic
Due to its geographic location (in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Vlasic Mountain is easily
reachable from major regional cities (Zagreb 380 km, Split 230 km, Belgrade 400 km), as well as from
local cities (Banja Luka 180 km, Sarajevo 120 km, Mostar 200 km).
Covering the area of 500 km2, Vlasic represents a vast terrain of average elevation of 1400 to 1500 m
with numerous peaks.
The mountain climate is enjoyable varying from -5°C during winter to 25°C during summer.
Vlasic is a home to a ski jump, and several ski lifts: Ugar, Markovac, Babanovac, two baby ski-lifts and
more than 15 km of ski trails.
It is not unusual to see all seasons changing in a day. This all year round resort is suitable for hiking and
outdoor activities near the Ugar River, Kraljica Spring and the highest peak on Vlasic - Paljenik 1963m,as
well as Alpine and Cross Country skiing, night skiing, snow safari, sledding, entertainment, etc.
Having preserved the tradition of sheepherding, Vlasic is also famous for its delicious sheep cheese Vlasicki/Travnicki cheese, and autochthonous Bosnian mountain sheep dog - Tornjak.

Blidinje
Risovac Sports & Leisure Centre is located in the Natural Park Blidinje, 1.250 m.
Ski terrains are sited in Herzegovina, at the foot of the Vran and Cvrsnica Mountains
(2.228 m). The Centre is also a home to the mountain lake Blidinje, a mountain hut,
a restaurant and other facilities near a complex of boarding and weekend houses
which are surrounded by pine forest.
Ski equipment rental service is also available.
Blidinje is popular for visitors from Mostar, Jablanica, Siroki Brijeg, Posusje and
Tomislavgrad, and the wider region of Dalmatia.

Kozara
Kozara National Park is located in the northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
covering an area of 3.375 ha in the heart of Kozara Mountain. Continental
climate, dynamic rugged mountains, sunny days, mountain peaks and vistas, will
impress all visitors to the Kozara Mountain. This Dinaric Mountain features a
75 km long forested area (highest peaks are Lisina, 978m and Rudine, 920m). It
is a unique resort offering various ski amenities to all nature lovers and members
of the Prijedor Mountaineering Club, as well as scouts who can enjoy serenity of
mountain trails and huts. The ski trail on Mrakovica is 800 m long and with ski

Kupres
Kupres, a traditional winter resort, located at the elevation of 1.250 m has harsh
alpine climate. It is particularly attractive to Dalmatia and Herzegovina visitors.
Visitors are offered ski lifts with the capacity of 1000 skiers per day accessing 4
ski trails and providing a range of activities: skiing, sledding, dog sledding with
Alaskan malamute, motor-sled rides, night skiing, ski equipment rental service.
