HUILA - Escuelas que Aprenden M N H J IMPACT & RESULTS 45% 70% + Of our programs were replicated to new regions. 4 of our programs received support from the government. of our 9 programs expanded to new schools in the regions were they already operated. We began work in 5 additional regions benefiting communities in a total 14 states of the country. We were invited to participate as speakers in 5 forums about quality of education. First Learning Steps was recognized by the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation as a successful pedagogical experience. Palabarrio & Numerario, as well as Jóvenes+Emprendedores were recognized by the National Agency to Overcome Extreme Poverty as quality education programs to eradicate extreme poverty. Genesis Foundation received an award by the Alejandro Ángel Escobar Foundation for its work improving quality of education in Colombia. 100% 48% 50% of the children that transitioned from First Learning Steps to formal schools continue to be enrolled. of students in Palabrario & Numerario improved their writing and their reading skills. Schools with the program Jóvenes+ Emprendedores have reached of the process of transforming their pedagogical model to include entrepeneurship. 70% In the early education program First Learning Steps of children improved their nutritional development. 82% 95% of children achieved adequate development and growth for to their age. Children that are exposed to Learning to Learn show higher scores in cognitive processes like memory, attention, thinking and visual reasoning, compared to students that were not enrolled in the program. Genesis Foundation committed technical and financial resources to a large national private and public alliance to create a Comprehensive Early Childhood Education Policy (AIPI).
