With unprecedented growth in the retail sector, the City of Greater Sudbury has become the
destination shopping centre for all of Northern Ontario. The Rainbow Centre has proceeded with
both expansion and renovations and is entering into the next phase of the rejuvenation of its
downtown mall. The construction of Northern Ontario’s only shopping and entertainment centre
will include such features as an indoor rink, a rock climbing wall, rides and games, an arcade and a
sports bar. Now is the time to take advantage of our rental opportunities. The Rainbow Centre is
a complex incorporating the Rainbow Centre Mall, the Sudbury Technology Centre - Sudbury’s
most prestigious office address, the Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre, a two story parking
garage and plenty of ground level parking. The entire complex is more than one million square
feet and has almost five hundred thousand square feet of retail space. It is the focal point for
commercial and retail activity. The retail portion of the mall offers a broad range of retail, food
and entertainment needs including the Hart Department Store, The Marketplace Grocery Store,
PharmaChoice Pharmacy, Bodyworks Fitness and Wellness Centre, Music World, a wide variety
of retail stores and services and Rainbow Cinema, a six–plex movie theatre. The complex is also
home to Teletech, Northern Ontario’s largest call centre; Hatch Engineering; CIBC Wood Gundy
and National Bank Financial. The Technology Centre is Sudbury’s first and still the most
completely fiber optic enabled building in the city of Greater Sudbury and is home to a multitude
of high technology operations.
Leasing opportunities are still available for retail, office and food uses.

Once a community totally dependant on nickel mining, Sudbury is now a progressive city serving
