your applications face to face and they are available to offer on- site assistance, site testing, product demonstrations and tool

Site Services /Consultation
▪▪ With our dedicated team of Field Engineers, fischer can
offer a wide range of on-site testing services ranging
from proof load testing or suitability testing in base
materials.
▪▪ On-site testing is carried out in accordance with
the Construction Fixing Association guidelines and
BS8539. Toolbox Talks
▪▪ The technical team are often called on-site to provide installers with a tool box talk which can be as simple
as offering standard product installation advice or more
comprehensive training when dealing with particularly
challenging installations and applications.
▪▪ The benefit of this on-site advice is the renewed
confidence of the user to ensure approved installation
methods are followed and they comply with BS8539.

EWI, also referred to as ETICS External Thermal Insulation
Composite System, offers a wide range of fixings suitable

Specialist FireStop Fixings Range
The fischer FireStop
product range is designed to be part of the passive fire prevention systems
integrated into a building structure during construction. The aim of this
system is to ensure that if a fire starts, it is limited to a fire compartment.
To maintain the FireStop integrity of these compartments, all gaps,
openings and channels need to be sealed to prevent the escape of fire
and smoke ; many of the products for this system are included within the
fischer FireStop range.

fischer is a member of the Construction Fixings Accociation
Established in 1979 the CFA is a Trade Association comprising major manufacturers of construction fixings with a significant UK presence. Its main objective is to ensure the best fixings practice is followed all the time. Via its web site and its activities, CFA is assists all members
involved in the design, selection, installation or testing of post-installed anchors, to do it safely and correctly in accordance with the latest
BS 8539:2012. The Association is run by a Board of Directors nominated by the Full Members with day to day administration. Technical
and Promotions committees handle the detailed issues under these headings where representatives of Full Members are joined by two
representatives elected by Associate Members at an annual conference.
