2014 Annual Report - AdultLiteracyLeague
2014 Annual Report FROM THE PRESIDENT... It is a very great pleasure for me to serve on the board, and as the volunteer President of the Adult Literacy League in 2014. Every year our board, staff and volunteers work to expand educational opportunities to low-income adults trying to improve their lives through literacy. Learning to read and write as an adult, or to become proficient in English, is a very hard and sometimes painful process. Our students are the inspiration for me, and I know for all of you, as they work to achieve their goals and build better lives for their families. Our tutors and volunteers are likewise inspiring and in the pages of this Annual Report you will have the chance to meet some of the people who make up just a small part of the Adult Literacy League family.
